No Place for a Packless Wolf

No Place for a Packless Wolf

Two days before the Supreme Court, in a narrow, urine-smelling alley in a seedy corner of Metropolis. Far from the luxury of skyscrapers and the revelry of the elite, Julian Blackwood sat against a thick moss-covered brick wall. In just less than a week, Alpha, which once stood on thousands of heads, is now no different from a crazy homeless person. His thick black hair was messy and dirty. His shoes were left behind, his expensive trousers were torn. The destruction of the throne plunged the wolf into deep depression, cutting off all its regenerative instincts.

I wish it were you

I wish it were you

“Let’s go home. I want to go home.” He blinked. “Our place in Elfhedge?” She nodded. In this city, she no longer had family. The places she used to live had become like museum exhibits—quiet, untouched, distant. All the longing, confusion, and grief had passed like a gust of wind. Now, home was wherever *he* was. That was her only belonging in the world. All she wanted was to go home, curl up in his arms, and sleep. “Okay,” he smiled, pinching her cheek, “let’s go home.”

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

The world felt small and tight inside the dusty granary. The air smelled of old grain and sadness. Outside, the only sound was the steady push of bodies against the heavy oak door. Thud. Thud. Thud. It wasn’t frantic, it wasn’t violent, it was worse: slow, patient, unstoppable. It was like the sound of home itself trying to break in, to swallow them whole in a fake hug that would trap them forever. Eli’s small, pale hand was still reaching out to his sister, Liora, his fingers limp and cold. The words he had spoken, the words it had made him say, “Come Home “ hung frozen in the quiet air.

The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

Adrian admonished me. Instead of feeling bad at his reprimand, I had a warm fuzzy feeling of belonging somewhere. It was strange that even at the apartment I had considered my home; I didn't feel this safe and accepted. I had been in his house for only one day and I planned to leave as soon as my issues with the demons were solved. But I had already started thinking of this place as home… 'Home is not just made of bricks and mortar; it is the people you live with that make it a home,' I thought.

SATOU, D.
This is interesting. I gave it 10. Because I like the story. Even I'm not into female lead yet I found it interesting. What is the goddess Artemis leads to? Just from reading the synopsis it tickles the surprises! Thank you for sharing this. Imma recommend this to my other friends.

Bit of a long winded read, lots of filler sentences, only at chapter 15 and already changed from a wolf to a tiger, either needs to re-edit the book and fix mistakes or remove from warewolf genre not worth the money spent so far, but will give it couple more chapters to see where it goes

Blood Forest Curse

Blood Forest Curse

Anna returns to her familiar home that has been separated for many years, her beloved home, no matter how many years she is away, the feeling of familiarity is always present in Anna's heart, sleeping in the room. The warmth in England is not as good as sleeping in a familiar bed at home. It is true that no matter where you go, it is not as good as your familiar home, no matter how tired you are outside, when you return home, you don't need to try to do anything, just go home. At home, all negative things are let go, home is the only private territory that protects us unconditionally. No one can damage that house, and nothing in the world can replace that familiar little house. "I asked the

A Home After All

A Home After All

He stood in the doorway in his pajamas, rubbing his eyes. "Mom? Dad? Why are you crying?" He walked in and stared at the tears on their faces, confused. "Did Lily come home?" He looked around, and a little spark of hope lit his eyes. No one answered. That spark dimmed slowly, then disappeared, leaving only fear and confusion. "Where is Lily? Why isn't Lily back yet?" Mom crouched and took his hands. Tears kept falling. "Noah, your sister... your sister went somewhere very far away."

The Devil's Ice (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 5)

He wasn’t about to start gushing fucking poetry, but he’d already told her more about how he felt than he’d told anyone, ever. What he’d told her standing in her bathroom had been totally alien to him, but somehow it had also felt exactly right, like he was coming home. And seeing as he hadn’t called anyplace ‘home’ since that trailer in Montana (and that was a pretty shit one, by any metric that he cared to bust out), he was starting to think that maybe a home wasn’t always a place. Maybe it can be a person. But can I be a home in return? Not fucking likely, not with the way things are.

Til Death Do Us Part

Til Death Do Us Part

Just thinking of walking away steals my breath away and closes my lungs. And home? Where is that and what is that now? Is it a building of brick and mortar which holds my every memory since birth, or is it the place where my parents went? How can I go somewhere that doesn’t exist anymore? I’m alone now. There’s isn’t anyone there that I want to go home for. It’s just a word, an empty meaningless word without them there to warm its core.

My Ex-Husband's Enemy Loved Me better: A Hockey Rival Romanc

My Ex-Husband's Enemy Loved Me better: A Hockey Rival Romanc

We stood there for a moment in the quiet hallway, the warmth of the day still settled comfortably between us, and he kissed me softly before he left, unhurried, like there was nowhere else either of us needed to be. I went inside afterward and stood for a long moment in my own small apartment, the one that had felt, only weeks earlier, like the only safe place left in the world, and realized, with a small shock of recognition, that it no longer felt that way. Not because it was unsafe. Because home had quietly started to mean somewhere else now, somewhere with flour on the counters and a man who brought lunch he was not sure I would like and a fifteen-year-old who critiqued my lemon bars wit
