The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I

Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I

I pushed Fenrir forward and for the first time, he looked nervous. “Tell her..” I nudged him forward. It took a moment before Fenrir told her the recap of his confusing nightmare which she kept silent all through his narration. All she did was nod her head and squint her eyes at him. When he was done, deafening silence befell us. Namilla gaze was neutral then she went into her study, an old shelf of tied-up scrolls. She had old creaked wood labeled in different names under the scrolls such as Dream, poison, time…

Red Rover

Her goddess gift of strategy is about to be clutch. One of the Valkyries Gondul sent out comes streaking through the sky, landing right in front of her. “Mist!” Gondul calls, just before she lands. “Where is Hrist?” “Still keeping watch,” Mist replies. “The demons are pouring out of the gates. Fenrir is with them—leading—alongside a god we don’t recognize.” “Fenrir?” Summer asks. “You mean the Norse werewolf?” Gondul turns to us, her face unreadable. “Yes. But if you are under the All-Father’s protection—and that of your goddess—then you have nothing to fear. He cannot control you.”

The Gamma's Alpha and Beta

"Davina Lynne Lothbrok Birthdate: 9/21/2005 Weight: 7lbs 6ounces Time: 5:23pm" "This is mine Ragnar, why was it hidden?" "Turn it around Davi" So I turned it around for it to show what hospital I was born in, which wasn't the one here, also it had a name on it, one I had only ever seen in our history books when talking about a royal family, the first werewolf family there ever was. "Freyja Mani" Old Norse for The Lady, Goddess of beauty, love, sex, war, and fertility. Mani was the God of the Moon.

Fate Of The Alpha King's Luna

Fate Of The Alpha King's Luna

I tried to explain to her. “So it seems that way, but there is a way to fix this. You are a goddess yourself, Jocelyn, or at least you have the power to become one. See, Freya rules over a realm in Asgard in a palace called Folkvangar. To be welcomed into her hall, Sessrumnir is one of the greatest honors. It is equal to being welcomed into Valhalla by Odin. When things have settled, child, I highly suggest you go to Norway and get acquainted with your ancestors. There is a pack called Kampoks pack meaning battle axe, their Alpha is Leif. This is all I will tell you, as it is a journey that I may guide you too, but it is up to you to go.” “I have a lot to learn. What about Norris? It seems t

Her Wilde Mates: A Reverse Harem Wolf Shifter Romance

The scent of burning sage lingered in the air, mingling with the faint musk of leather and old parchment. Inside the library, Kelda carefully turned the brittle pages of an ancient tome, her fingers tracing the faint Norse etchings. The firelight from the hearth flickered against the towering bookshelves, casting moving shadows across the worn wooden floor.

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Whispers of Frost and Fire

The Story of the Priestesses “When the world was young and men had just begun ruling over the land, the Moon Goddess, Selene, and Zeus fell in love. Together, they had eight children: Narcissus, Pandia, Ersa, Horae, Musaeus, Eiar, Theros, Phthinoporon, and Kheimon—the Goddess of Winter. Men and wolves lived in prosperity, but as with all things, there must be balance. The gods had their counterparts—demons—creatures of destruction sent to Earth to undo the progress of both men and wolves. Their power was beyond that of any mortal, and soon, war broke out. It became known as the Battle of Worlds. Zeus, fearing extinction, sent Kheimon to the mortal realm with a mission—to rid the world of the

Teach Me New Tricks

Teach Me New Tricks

“Yes, I suppose you could say that. The Greeks had Heracles, which is who Hercules was essentially modeled after. The Norsemen also had their own gods.” “Norsemen?” “Vikings,” I said with a smile. “The Vikings had Odin, Thor, Loki, and so on.” His eyes brightened. “No way! Those are actual people? I thought they were Marvel comics.” I laughed. “They are, but I believe the creator must have gotten his inspiration from the Norse mythology stories.” He looked impressed, which made my heart swell. “That’s cool. I didn’t know there were so many different kinds. I’ve always kind of liked the Greek stuff. We only get like a few weeks of it in school. You teach it all the time?”

The Dark Alpha's Pet

The Dark Alpha's Pet

“Benji, tell us what you have figured out so far!” “I thought you would never ask. Here is the facts first. Nancy and I discovered… Drum roll please!... Ciara is a descendent from Nordic Ancient Gods!!” Benji squealed with delight which sounded like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. “Her pack is around this area of the North and guess what! They are still ALIVE and Kicking!” she pointed towards the map on the TV screen. “But wait there is more! According to the journal, her mother is a distant descendant of one of Odin’s wolves, Geri or Freki, not sure which, but that doesn’t really matter right now. What matters is this connection to Odin’s wolves. According to legend, Geri and Freki would

This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!
