Intrigued, i decided to take the book back to the cabin to show Nikau. When i arrived back at the cabin, i excitedly showed Nikau the book, telling him all about the strange symbols and images that i had seen. Nikau was equally intrigued by the book, but nikau said that he would be leaving to check out on the pack for a few days. He asked me not to join him as he would be travelling in his wolf form. After he left, I settled into my cozy spot by the fireplace in the cabin, I opened the old book I had checked out from the library. The title, "The Lost Village of Ravenswood", immediately caught my attention and I was eager to learn more about this mysterious place.

Anthony had left her alone again. Nora crawled toward the warehouse window, whose wooden planks were partially rotted. Nails protruded outward, and the bottom of the window was covered in spider webs. But night air seeped through the cracks. With great effort, Nora pried open the boards with a broken piece of iron from the lamp hook she had hidden behind a cardboard box the day before. The sound of creaking wood was enough to make the woman hold her breath. Once it was wide enough, Nora slipped her body through, enduring the pain in her elbows and knees, which were raw from the friction.

Nora had left to continue working but she said I could stay in her room for as long as I wanted. I got into reading her book, it was a fairytale about a water elf who fell in love with a forest elf. They were rivals with great responsibilities to their own land and people but their love didn't dim with the time they were forced to stay apart- if anything it grew until the pain of being separated was stronger than their love for each other. As a result of their wounded hearts, the oceans turned into chaos with waves so big they covered entire cities. The forest slowly died, the tree crowns hung as though on a tired neck and the colors turned grey from decay.

The second his friends heard him, they both straightened, Lorenzo leaned back in his chair, giving Noir his full attention. Silas stopped fidgeting under my ministrations, those gray eyes focusing on his friend with sudden intensity. The atmosphere grew heavier. More intimate. The four of us in this kitchen felt less like people hiding from threats and more like family. Or whatever fucked-up version of family we were trying to build in the middle of this chaos. "I have a cottage in Norway," Noir said simply. Lorenzo's eyebrows shot up. Silas's mouth actually fell open.

Nicole was just woken up by the crow of a hen, it had become quite a normal. Stretching and yawning, she turned to her side but Henry was not there even if he was with her late the previous night. She had never really wondered what he always went to do deep in the woods, Henry never told her about his family, probably because she never asked.

We are completely lost. Nora’s heart tugged for them as she read; her eyes growing heavy. She fell asleep quickly. She was running blindly through the woods, it was dark. The smell of blood wrapping around her. She tripped over something large, her heart pounding in her chest as she was launched forward, her hands going out in front of her waiting to brace her fall. She hit the ground with the smell of earth wrapping around her. She tried to get up quickly but couldn't get off the thing she tripped over. The sounds of branches snapping and the leaves crunching enveloped her as she tugged on her foot trying to get it loose. She pulled with all her might getting her foot finally free. She got

I don’t know how, but we understood each other without words. We’re walking side by side taking in the beauty of this part of Norway where the littlest bits of white snow covers parts of the green. I never thought I would be able to see snow in my life. Heck, I never thought I would even see the woods again, but now I was here, admiring both. Some time has passed, but still, each time I go out, I just can’t help but take it all in and admire the beauty of everything. For a second, I closed my eyes and took a deep inhale.
