Memories undone

Memories undone

Lucas stated like I didn’t just say that I wanted to go home. I already knew that we might end up arguing if I replied, so instead of speaking I kept my mouth shut as the tears I was holding in fell freely. I quickly wiped them away and ignored everyone that was talking to me. Instead I sat rigidly as I stared at the window that I would’ve loved to look out of. The only good thing about my memory loss is that I could tune people out and it would be like it was only me in the room. I stared at the window and imagined myself standing next to it while I looked outside at the street that was now glowing with street lights. I could just picture a married couple holding hands as they laughed and m

The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

Naham took a step forward as he began to see the old building instead of the new one, slipping into his memories. He could almost smell the scent of freshly baked bread, scones, croissants, and other delicious baked goods. He could see his father through the window, on the other side of the counter, smiling at his customers as they carried on a conversation. He could see himself sticking his hand inside one of the cabinets and sneaking a sweet treat. As the tears fell, a smile spread across his face at the memory. They were good memories, full of love. He missed those days with his papa terribly.

This also allows the Werewolf King to see what is happening to his people and take action to correct it. While this book is still in progress, and I am not aware of where she will take this. It would, in my opinion, benefit the werewolves to have a king and higherarchy with regulations set in place.

This is a great book!!! I love the storyline & the depth of the characters. I've read all Abigail's books but this could be read on its own. I really love seeing characters grow and mature, find their mates, help them thru trauma. I am excited to read this book everyday, its a highlight of my day!

In Love With My Bully

In Love With My Bully

“But if he doesn’t remember me, why is he so attached? Is it just because he’s lost and feels like he should rely on his wife?” He shook his head, a gentle smile on his face. “No, it’s more than that. While the details of his memories might be missing, the emotions he associates with those memories are still very much alive. It’s like when you hear a song from your childhood—you might not remember every word or what you were doing when you first heard it, but the feeling it gives you, the nostalgia, the warmth, that’s still there.” I nodded slowly, understanding beginning to dawn. “So, what you’re saying is… even if he doesn’t remember me, he still feels the same way about me as he did befor

I'm loving this one and can't wait to read more chapters. With Irresistiblyme you will always find an engaging story with the exact dose of each aspect that she wants to portray. So far this one has been sweet and fun, with the heat gradually increasing.

DANGEROUS HUSBANDS, BROKEN WIFES

DANGEROUS HUSBANDS, BROKEN WIFES

“Say you remember the nights we couldn’t keep our hands off each other, when you’d beg me to make you cum, and the way you’d scream when you’d finally let go.” I’m doing everything I can to fight the force of his words, the image he’s trying to paint in front of my eyes, but they hang in the air like weights that can’t be destroyed, tempting me to give in to the pull of nostalgia, to admit that somewhere deep down, the memories still hold power over me. But it’s the battle of wills that I can’t keep up with, not if I don’t find a way to break out of it. I close my eyes even tighter.

Priced By My Billionaire Nemesis

Priced By My Billionaire Nemesis

Trauma has a way of blurring timelines, mixing one pain with another until everything feels like the same bruise. A different set of images rises, softer than the others but painful in the way nostalgia always is. A library hushed with winter quiet. A boy sitting across from me pretending to read. The warmth that flickered in his eyes before he learned how to lock every feeling behind a wall. I don’t know why my mind keeps that memory preserved when it erases the moments I desperately want clarity on. Maybe some parts of us resist forgetting, even when forgetting feels safer.

Rest, Honey

Rest, Honey

The air grew stale and heavy, carrying the faint scent of mold and forgotten time. No one lived here anymore. The house had become a tomb not just for my body, but for everything it once contained. I would spend what felt like months in the kitchen, staring at the counter where I used to make breakfast for Lily. The cabinets were empty now, the fridge long unplugged. Sometimes I tried to remember the smell of coffee or the sound of Lily’s small feet running across the floor. But the memories grew fainter with each passing season, slipping away like sand through fingers I no longer had.

She Belongs To The Sky

She Belongs To The Sky

But i'm not placing my bet on video calls or any network service, because if you have lived my life you'll know that people die, and people leave and people can't hold on to you, or you to them, no matter hold hard you try. Time makes your fingers slippery, distance make the memories lose their lustre. That is until you remember them again, until something, someone, a random thought coalesces, a person's gait becomes familiar, an advert jingle rings a bell, a sentence in the warm pages of a book yanks you out of the moment you are living and takes you back, and for a single moment you are sixteen, or eight, ten or whatever again. And for a single unflawed moment the world is right.

Fated To Love You

Fated To Love You

Even though sad nights and loneliness made her feel awful at times, making her crave Min-Jae, she didn't know that coming back would be so painful and would need a satchel of courage so she doesn't fell and swivel into the fragile Jin-Ae that left Korea in hopes of returning stronger than ever. Her emotions were taking so much of her, even though not a day has passed that she was not here. Her heart was always distracted with her dad's memories, her mind always dwelled in that room where the windows sleet but her duvet kept her warm, and her soul was with Min-Jae that followed him with her prayers and best wishes. But, nostalgia is a blessing and a curse all at once. It can tear a metal, whe

FALLEN PROMISE

FALLEN PROMISE

The thought sent a strange thrill through her—a mix of dread and anticipation. As the name Eldoria loomed closer, memories of the ocean breeze gently caressing her face, the sound of children's laughter echoing in the village streets, and the vibrant, twinkling lights of the Mermaid Festival filled her mind. It was as if the sights, sounds, and smells of that enchanting place were rushing back all at once. They were bittersweet memories—of joy, beauty, and heartache, all intertwined like the threads of a tapestry she couldn’t unravel. Each recollection was both a comfort and a reminder of how much she had lost, and how much she had yet to confront.

The Cursed Lycan Princess: Chosen By The Alpha

The Cursed Lycan Princess: Chosen By The Alpha

My parents had brought me here when I was a child, and later, I’d brought my ex here, trying to share the warmth and nostalgia this place carried. The diner had a charm that never faded: the retro sign with its neon glow, the sound of the bell jingling as the door opened, and the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with sizzling bacon. Even now, standing in front of it, I could feel the weight of those memories pressing down on me. Good memories, the kind I desperately wanted to cling to.

Frequently Asked Questions

There's a certain magic about those tunes from my teenage years that brings such a rush of nostalgia. Like, every time I hear 'The Nights' by Avicii, I’m instantly transported back to summer adventures with friends. We’d drive around with the windows down, blasting that track, singing at the top of our lungs, promising to live life to the fullest. Those carefree days felt endless, and the music served as the perfect soundtrack. I can still picture us at the beach bonfire, the glow of the fire lighting up our faces as we danced and laughed without a care. It really evokes a sense of longing, a bittersweet reminder of how much things have changed since then.

Sometimes, I find myself daydreaming about those moments, wondering where everyone is now. It's funny how a simple song can unlock a treasure trove of memories. In a way, it also makes me appreciate those times even more. While I cherish my current life, nothing quite compares to those wild, youthful days where everything seemed possible. I often think about how I want to create new memories like those, and perhaps, one day when I hear those songs again, they’ll bring back even more adventures.

Music does have this incredible way of intertwining with our memories, doesn’t it? Whether it’s a joyous time or a more reflective moment, those melodies stick with us forever, making our nostalgia so visceral and vibrant.
