Not Just, The Beta Novels & Stories

I mind-linked Jack but he was also the same and could not tell. Before I knew what was happening, Josie moved to stand in front of the Beta. “Are you telling the truth Beta?” she demands. I forgot she was an Alpha in her own right. The Beta looks like he is struggling to remain in command, but he quickly bends his head in acknowledgement of a higher-ranking wolf. “No,” he hisses out.

"You might have to come back in two weeks" "Is there no one I can speak to?" I asked. "None. His Beta is as busy as the bee. He won't see you" I was furious that even a Beta would not see me because he is busy. "I am an Alpha. Why would a Beta not speak to me because he is busy?" "Well, our Beta here is equivalent to some Alphas out there," he said proudly. I felt he was indirectly comparing me to their Beta and that got me more furious but I said nothing about it.

Jaime said that while fixing his eye glasses. That's true, that's why he is also confused after knowing that. Daveryl is a beta, so it's confusing, if why the hell did he falls in love with an alpha. Beta can't smell pheromones, they are the people who never developed pheromones glands. "Yeah.. I'm confused too." He answered mindlessly.

I groaned at the sound of footsteps approaching and a earthly scent with a hint of something like cinnamon. That scent, I knew. It was committed in my memory since childhood, and been alongside me ever since. My Beta. A Beta either follows his Alpha or ends his life. Those are the only two options for a Beta. He cannot ever disobey the orders of his Alpha, or it's the end of the line for him.

And right now, he was definitely acting like my damn best friend, not my Beta. Betas aren't supposed to talk back to their Alpha. But here he was, doing exactly that. "I might not know a lot of things, Marcus, but I'm pretty sure Betas don't talk back to their Alphas. Or did I somehow lose track of how the world works now?" I smirked, letting the amusement show in my eyes. He just rolled his eyes.

"Is there a reason for you to get scared?" Beta Matt faked a smile. "Of course not. I'm just worried that I might have somehow slackened in my duty as your Beta. I really want to be a good Beta, so I overthink a lot when it comes to discharging my duties properly." Alpha Romulus laughed. "The Beta I once knew is nothing like you just described. He was competent, but worrying about not discharging your duties well is new. We both know that you are not that committed. You've been acting weirdly these days, but that's an issue I will address some other day. Not today."

Alpha Tristan's Beta explained, as he tried to keep his voice steady "Is that all you found out?" Alpha Tristan asked. "Yes Alpha Tristan, we are still working in trying to get more information" the Beta said "You're disappointing me, I gave you enough time to look for her but now you're giving me this, what do you expect me to do with that information?" Alpha Tristan said "I apologize Alpha, I will do better" The Beta said as he avoided Alpha Tristan's disappointed gaze Alpha Tristan's stern gaze lingered on his Beta for a moment before he sighed, a mixture of frustration and anger evident in his expression.

“That’s a huge discovery. And what’s a 'Beta,' by the way?” Rina sighed, as if explaining it was a complicated matter. “Let me explain in human terms,” she began. “A Beta is like a second-in-command, just like a President and a Vice President.” “Oh?” I nodded. All along, I had thought he was just a driver. “Thank you for explaining. And... is it possible that Noel’s identity doesn't get spread among the staff? I'm aware of the pictures trending, but I don’t want Noel to be revealed to anyone yet. I heard it’s against the family rules to have a child outside and—”

Including an alpha like himself. The day before, Alex woke up like every other day, it was as normal as ever, unknowingly to him that the day was going to be far than a normal one, he freshened up and went to his office. "Alex the meeting with the council is today" his beta reminded him "I almost forgot" he said "they are a pain in my ass lately" "They just want was right for you" his beta replied "They don't know what is better for me" Alex stated "Well, you have no choice" his beta noted

I snarl. The female’s memories play over and over in my head, I pick through them savoring the ones that could be useful and tossing out the mundane ones. “The Beta is the key. The stones are the lock.” The Beta was not her mate, but she was as good as. I felt their love and would use it to get what I wanted.
