Not Just, The Beta Novels & Stories

Adrian has stepped into the role of his Beta better than he imagined, even better than his previous one. “He's nothing like I thought he was. I always thought he was… I don't want to say 'weak,' but not strong like a mature, seasoned beta. But he is! He's incredibly strong! Physically. Mentally. And his ideas, and the way he handles these men… I swear… he's everything this place needed! I couldn't have asked for a better Beta. Hell, I would have never found a better one! I could have searched for 100 years and probably never found someone like him. It's funny… They always say never judge a book by its cover, and he's a perfect example of that.

My eyes became rheumy as I gawked at the magnificent decorations, no one from a higher status has loved me the way Luna Violetta does. Everything was in place except one, the Alpha. “Where is…” “Beta Nathan,” a voice interrupted me from behind and we turned. “The Alpha has declined dining with Lady Elena, he says that he has a lot to worry about.”

Jasper says in a cool voice and I can hear him clearly. Alpha Donald replies in a second, sounding confused. "But I thought you were here to negotiate..." He trails off. "Oh, forget about that," Jasper says dismissingly. "It is just that he is my Beta and I don't want to disrespect him but that doesn't change the fact that he is going crazy and irrational. Ever since his mate was taken away, he thinks we can beat this ferocious rogue pack with half of our army already injured and no Gamma available. If you help us then you will be the one at a loss and we might still lose, thereby causing you to lose your pack. So as a fellow Alpha and well wisher, I will suggest for you to not get into this

she began and then I felt it. I am a beta. Me being a beta means that I am in between an alpha and a gamma or an omega depending with who my parent were. Betas don't go through heats like omegas or ruts like alphas. We only usually get aroused by our mates pheromones and we aren't affected by any other. Thus, except Mason and Alex, no one else could arouse me forcibly not unless I was willing to. There is only one way of making a beta go in heat like and omega and that's by inducing a temporary one.

Beta cautioned, their voice carrying the wisdom of countless trials overcome. Alpha Jayden nodded, acknowledging Beta's concerns. "Indeed, Beta. But we have something that sets us apart. We have each other," Alpha Jayden responded, their voice filled with unwavering conviction. "Our unwavering spirit and the strength of our unity are our greatest assets. Together, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way."

“And there is another thing that I want to speak to you about.” “And that is?” I asked, shaking my head in question. He took a deep breath and looked away for a second. “I don’t have a beta, and you are an Alpha blood. Asking you to become my beta is not something that I aim to do.” “You know that I am a bastard, regardless of what is to be said, it doesn’t change the truth and facts.” I said, and he shook his head.

“Just great.” Jason gets up from his chair like he’s about to charm half the crowd. “Let’s do this.” Micah smacks him. “Please stop flirting with Lunas. You’re going to get us all killed.” “Come on, nothing is going to happen... and with Sadie on our side, who would dare attack us?” I pinch the bridge of my nose. “Seriously, Jason, how are you even the Beta? You’re never serious.” He shrugs his shoulder with a smirk. “I’m Beta thanks to daddy dearest, not because I earned it… now let’s go.”

at her question, he paused briefly, only sparing her a glimpse with his frozen smile before he picked up his smile again. "No. We're just special," he shrugged. "It's the first time this is happening," his expression turned stern and so did his voice. "It was a shock when he mentioned it." "Yet you played along. Why?" "I'm a Beta," was his response. He straightened and stared at her with curious eyes, "Shouldn't trusting my Alpha be a part of my duties even if it's to trust blindly?" That sounded all too familiar, it made her frown, "That's stupid."

" He's the alpha of the pack here, the one I joined when I came back. Alphas have the ability to cause pain mentally, to control their pack members if necessary, but they seldom use it." "I can't believe he'd do that to you." "Don't be too hard on him. He's trying to protect all of us - you included. In the first five years, uncontrolled shifting sometimes happens when you're angry or upset. It's not the same as the full moon shifting - you're not a fully-fledged monster - but you don't have complete control of yourself either. "People have gotten hurt in the past." "Will Derek be angry you're telling me all of this?
