Not Just, The Beta Novels & Stories

“Look, Aurelia. I’m just trying to look out for you….” “Oh stop, Rune!” She bellowed. “I am overly capable of taking care of myself! Why the fuck do you care? You aren’t my boyfriend or anything!” I clenched my jaw. She was right. I wasn’t her boyfriend. I was just her Beta—a role I had taken just so I could look after her. But now it seemed like I wasn’t ever going to be anything but that in her eyes. Aurelia’s eyes were still burning in rage, and when she stared at mine, they faltered—a flicker of guilt behind the rage. She muttered something intelligent before going back to the dresser. And that was the end of the conversation.

It was a kind of picnic with everyone. " Miss Amelia, are you a beta? ", Jack asked. Amelia nodded her head. " Yeah, I am beta ". " From what I know, Beta doesn't have a mate, neither they know who is for them. It's like, you can love anyone who's a beta like you. About loving an alpha or omega, you are destined to break up. Because apparently, all alphas and omegas have their mate that is destined to them ", Jack was trying to convey something.

Which let me know he was at least a gamma. “I’m Alina,” I said kindly as I offered a handshake. “I’m josh” he smiled mischievously. aceppting the handshake. I c*cked my brow at him, waiting for him to continue. “oh yeah, I’m the beta,” he said nervously. As he scratched the back of his head. A beta was the closest to an alpha. They were normally best friends. Maybe there would be something I could squeeze out of this little beta.

As I attempted to leave the room, Rodriguez spoke again in a hesitant voice, " By the way.. we haven't received a confirmation letter from their Beta. You know, about this case of lands, we need Beta's approval more than the Alpha." I shot him a glare. A Beta? Rodriguez had been telling me for a while that Alpha Remus's new Beta was interrupting each one of our settlements. In other words, he wasn't willing to compromise anything with us. I snorted lightly, pulling out a cigarette to light on, " Do you think that a beta can stop me from what I want? If Alpha Remus cares about Beta more than his own daughter, he should forget about his daughter then." I tched with hatred and mockery. Rodrigue

After staring at a silent Alpha Malcolm for a few minutes, Paul turned his attention to the man beside him. That's when he recognized him as the Beta. He smiled to himself. He would certainly have buy his cousin a beer for this capture. "Since your fearless leader have nothing to say, what about you?" Alpha Paul asked the Beta that only looked at him with disdain.

Pouring enough of the alcohol, I gulped down half of it before resorting to light sips. It's hard being a Beta around here; there is so much to do and many annoying faces to see. I hope Kara enjoys her new space. I can bet she would hate her life more now there is no living presence around her; for someone like her who loves being the center of attention, it would be tough to cope.

"That's Damon Romano. Alpha Dimitris brother and Beta of the pack." "Why is he Beta?" "Our Beta couple had no offspring since his mate died from a rogue attack. So Dimitri chose Damon as his second in command." "Interesting...Did he just say no to me?" I asked with a frown. Kade looked at me with sympathy causing me to growl in annoyance. "Give him time...he's now got himself in a sticky situation meeting you." "What's the situation?" He turned away avoiding my calculating gaze as he rummaged through the cupboard.

“You have some remarkable Betas under your regime.” Alpha Damian nodded but said nothing else, his dark expression giving nothing away. “Now then-” Alpha Cunningham turned back to the rest of the table, “Any more questions?”

my mom adds. Smiling at my mom, I think this is the first I have seen Miranda even a little hopeful. I hope it works out for her and Rick, I want her by my side. “And just think Miranda, you will be Lily’s Beta female; the two of you would be together,” my mom adds. While Miranda looked glad that we would see more of each other, she starts to fret again, “Beta female? What does a Beta female even do?” she asks sounding panicked.

Why do I feel like she mentioned something to me about a stepmother? Think. Think. Think, Axel! “Yes, Melody. We need you. Your pack needs you.” The alpha added as he stepped closer to them, forcing me to stiffen. “I need my beta.” He lifted his hand and was seconds from touching her brown, wavy hair, but I was at his side, holding his hand away from her. “DO NOT TOUCH HER.” I growled dangerously. He ripped his hand out of mine before continuing to speak to her. Whatever. He could talk to her but not touch her. Which thankfully, he didn’t attempt again.
