One week later. Ashley groaned softly as she turned on the bed, her eyes fluttering open. Sunlight streamed through the glass window, and a small smile spread across her lips. Today was another special day for her and Nora. They were heading to town again for some fun. The past week had been lively, all thanks to Nora, and it had helped ease the guilt weighing on her chest. Speaking of guilt… When was Dane going to wake up? Though she tried to distract herself with outings, the thought kept creeping back. What if he never woke up?
