Emerald

Emerald

Sure, I'm upset with Declan, with all of them, but I'd never put them through something like that. "By chance, was the bar on Barker attacked? Uhm crap what's it called?" It was where older people hung out. It wasn't much for the younger crowd. It's a dusty, beat-down sports bar. The owner is friendly and all, but it is just not my cup of tea for the old men who have been through some things in life. "The Ace? Yeah, Wes and I handled that one together." "Almost burned that place down, too," Wes added to what Archie told me.

The Barbarian's Pleasure

The Barbarian's Pleasure

To catch me. He turned in a lunge and cleared the nonis pouring through the doorway. Jumping like a gazelle. I immediately rolled to peer over his shoulder back toward the hut. Fearing that the monstrous things were swelling over Mardichi and he’d be unable to escape them. I knew a heartbreaking moment of fear at the idea that he’d be killed right there on that hut floor. But not this barbarian. He was rising from the floor. A huge, looming shadow covered in clawing, biting rodents. He roared and shook them loose. Catching one by the tail and ripping it loose from his arm as if tearing away a tick.

Total Surrender

Total Surrender

He needed something else-something sharper. At the next intersection, he turned the wheel left without signalling and drive towards the flickering neon sign of The Drought. The bar was a relic from another era, the kind of place where the whiskey was cheap and no one asked questions. The bar was half empty, the air thick with the scent of whiskey and tobacco. Richard took a seat at the far end, where light barely reached. The bartender, a grizled man with a scar running down his cheek nodded at him. "Vodka," Richard said. "Neat."

The Devil's Barbie Doll

The Devil's Barbie Doll

With her creepy husband who's currently looking at me like he's won the jackpot. The realization makes panic crawl up my spine and his grip suddenly tightens. "Where were you, Barbara?" "Out." I whisper and he scoffs. "Out? Since when do you go... Out?" His eyes sweep over my dress and zeroes in on my breasts and his lip curls. "Dressed like a whore?"

Bar Night: A Wild Adventure

Bar Night: A Wild Adventure

I had never come in contact with a 20-year-old woman like Lucinda. She truly felt softer than the fluff of cotton candy. To my even greater surprise, she actually took my hand and placed it right on her chest. Instantly, I could feel her suppleness and tenderness right against my palm. I also felt a hard peak. I couldn't believe that she was actually braless! I pulled my hand back in fright, then whispered in her ear, "You must be mad. I'm close friends with your father." At this moment, Lucinda was blushing, her expression full of unmet desire as she pleaded, "I get this… itch whenever I drink. Just scratch this itch for me, will you, Mr. Glover? Just shield me with your body so my dad does

Cursed to be my Mate

Cursed to be my Mate

she ordered over her shoulder before telling the barman called Barm an to pour her a rum. “Make that two,” Bash ordered beside Amira. The rogue tilted his head to the side. “A new face. Pretty one,” Barman said. He was a large man with a big, bent, once-broken nose and a shaved head with scars running down it and his face. He looked scary, but he mostly kept to himself like a typical rogue. He was only at the guild, so he had a roof over his head. “Um?” Bash answered.

Camilita Vargas
Excellent plot! Surprisingly, the FL is the one not really likable, but that's super intriguing and keeps you hooked. ML is really funny in FL's body! No excessive violence and verbal abuse. It's one of the best books on this platform. Wish I could give it more stars!

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

Alpha’s Illicit Affairs With My Step Sister

grinned Owen, my faithful Friday boy and witcher extraordinaire. “I'm just saying that zombies have undergone a huge transformation over the years. Hiding a smile, I blew on my tea and watched the waves crash against the glass wall of my bookstore-bar. “Speed, maybe,” he retorted, stacking the glasses under the counter. Sitting on a stool, I sipped my tea while Owen checked the bottles of alcohol, replacing empty ones. I am running a books bar in Danius Clive'S Pack. Tables, most with small stained-glass lamps, were scattered throughout the bar, green leather chairs surrounding them.

Saving Khloe

Saving Khloe

Chapter Eleven Logan Novak London, England I entered the bar, ignoring the stares I received from the patrons in there. I'd been to this bar a few times before whenever I traveled to London for business. It was high class and numerous wealthy people went there. This is just what I needed. To drown myself in alcohol and pick up a girl to take back to the hotel that I would be staying at. I'd forget about Khloe in no time. I walked up to the bartender and he instantly recognized me. "Mr. Novak, welcome to London," he said in professional mode. "What can I get you this evening?"

Wrecked By My Bully

Wrecked By My Bully

The bar is closed since it’s only noon. “I swear, I feel like it lately.” “When is Barbara coming back?” A loud voice calls from the storeroom. “I’m here. Don’t worry, I’m not dead yet.” Fleece rolls her eyes. “Of course not.” Barbara sweeps out of the back room in all her glory. A woman in her sixties whose very essence screams ‘New York.’ She’s carrying a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of vodka to replenish the stock behind the bar. “How you doin,’ Delia?”
