Caspian's eyes burned with enthusiasm. Dylan scratched his head, looking conflicted. "But I hear Larissa really wants to eat steak. Caspian, weren't you bad at foreign cuisine?" "What's so special about foreign cuisine?" Caspian snorted. He began to count his fingers. "High in cholesterol and fat—not healthy at all! "It always comes down to the same few things: steak, truffles, caviar, and foie gras! How can that compare to the grandeur of our magnificent local cuisine?

Mom said that Dad’s men were pleased with my cooking, and that’s when I started doing it as a hobby. For the first time, I would make something because I was happy. I wanted to make something special for Caden. Something that he would never expect—that it was me who made it. And so, I started asking the Manor chefs what kind of foods Caden usually eats and his favorite ones. I found out that his favorite was any dish with chicken in it, and that’s when I started researching a cuisine that I wished he had never tasted before.

Which I know can't be true, given this is my first time seeing him use the stove or any appliance besides the fridge. The majority of our nights, it's the private chef manning the kitchen solo, meal prepping for us and cooking a wide variety of fresh dinners— beef wellington, risotto, fish, Indian and Italian cuisine, and dishes I've never heard of. I've eaten like a true queen by the hands of an ex-Michelin Star chef for the past month and a half. Stealing the spatula from him, I unfold the burnt side, unstick the eggs around the rim and fold the omelet correctly.

But still, Susan could teach Virginia about menus that were not so hard to do. Susan told Virginia about the simple menus that were common for mafia such as onion soup, tripes, dauphnoise, ratatouille, pot au feu, beef steaks, and many others. Susan proudly stated that she has mastered more than thirty menus. Virginia was so amazed to know that Susan could do that.

" Master will find out that you have been cooking for him. What are you going to do?" The Chef, A decent Wolf, Carol asked before passing me the cheese and onion. Since I had been hiding the fact that I cooked his meals, he might recognize. But who cared? I did no longer had to act like her anyway. I smiled, shaking my head as I felt something inside my stomach. I couldn't stand the smell for some reason. " I will cook something that is from the northern fortress. They use more spice than the other regions!"

She still couldn’t let go of what he had done for her when Henry had showed up, and for that, she wanted to do something nice as a thank-you. Despite Dominic’s rejection, Nova quickly set to work preparing a dish she knew he would like. She pulled steak, leftover rice from dinner, and various vegetables out of the fridge. The steak went in the pan first, cut into small strips and sauteed in fragrant spices while Nova washed and cut the vegetables. Within minutes, the kitchen was filled with the aromatic scent of oregano, red pepper flakes, and cajun seasoning. The scent made even Nova’s mouth water despite not being hungry.

It looked weird to her. "Why is my meal different?" She asked suspiciously. "Will you just eat it and stop bothering us? It isn't poisoned so you won't have to die." Allen retorted. Jane glanced at him while Drake frowned before turning to Jane. He smiled at her sheepishly. "It's a new recipe that I decided to try out." Drake replied. Jane looked at the meal, how was fried snails with spices and vegetables a new recipe to try out? Drake could see that she was having her doubts so he tried to persuade her.

Settling back into the comfortable chair, he eagerly unwrapped the meal, revealing a culinary masterpiece. The dish, aptly named "Succulent Symphony," featured a canvas of tender, seared filet mignon adorned with a rich truffle sauce. Accompanying the main course were vibrant roasted vegetables, their colors a feast for the eyes, and a medley of aromatic herbs delicately seasoned the dish. The plating itself was a work of art, showcasing the chef's meticulous attention to detail.

“You can cook, Sir Ares? “It doesn’t make sense. My friends told me that a man who can cook is a man who can’t make money. “But it seems like you’re only able to cook basic European cuisine. To be frank with you, European cuisine doesn’t always match everyone’s palate. Furthermore, constantly eating them will make you bloat like a balloon…” It was because she disliked European cuisine! Jay was quickly frying up some bacon and eggs while she babbled away. Rose saw the golden brown bacon and licked her lips.

I hoped to look at least somewhat presentable when I showed up to this restaurant. The thing people complimented most about me was my cooking. One of my favorite things was making special fusion foods, something I became known for in my hometown. I loved experimenting, approaching traditional foods through modern methods and incorporating unconventional ingredients. More importantly, being in the kitchen made me feel in control of my own life. That’s why I opened my restaurant back in my hometown. Even if I didn’t speak Fresonian, I knew some local cuisine. I believed good food transcended any language barrier, so maybe I stood a chance.
