I come right out not too long after and slip on the nightdress I had earlier pulled out. My eyes catch the my bag in the corner and a thought creeps into my mind. I quickly move to the door, quickly locking it. I'd really hate to be caught right now. I take up the bag and empty its contents on my bed. My eyes widen in shock as I recognize it. The Novel. The one I had wished to be sent to. How did it get here? I have to hide it. I don't even know why, but I get a very strong gut feeling to do so.

CHAPTER THIRTY- EIGHT Nala’s POV To think this little shit of a cat hated my guts when we first met. Now the furry traitor was curled up on my pillow like we'd been married for ten years. I was halfway dozing off, trying to finish a chapter of some blood-soaked haunted-house novel — because fuck those cheesy romance books — when a muffled knock hit my door. I didn't even bother asking who it was, knowing nova or Lena could want to check up on me, I just yanked it open.
