Novel First Draft Novels & Stories

Starting this book wasn't part of the plan. That day, my goal was to scroll through P*******t to find a cover for "GOOD SIN" since I wasn't able to afford a designer. But then, I saw a rainbow poem. And it was just... too emotional. I've always been neutral but the idea just came that day. I wasn't a big fan of MM or BL books and I knew it won't hurt to do something new so I started my first draft. The final kick in the ass was Goodnovel's contest. I applied and I wasn't really surprised when it passed the review because I worked for this.

hi. I should have spent this time writing for the Iron Alpha or The Alpha That Couldn't Remember, but I wasn't in the mood. So instead I wrote a long chapter for the new story. this isn't permanent, before I can get a contract things might change. Sometimes goodnovel wants to hear from the male pov first or they want me to edit some things out. So you get to read the first draft for free. I already made the book cover and you can find the story on the desktop version until it's actually signed.

I managed to finish writing my very first draft and about my personal journal— you know the one that is for my eyes only— well, let's just say I have hit a dead end so that project is currently on hold. It would still take at least three months for the completed novel to be published. It has to go through three to four editors to cross-check and make necessary corrections before it can be approved. I was not rushing though but Brenda? First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has been following along with the story! The journey so far has been filled with excitement, anxiety, partial loss of sanity, sleepless nights, and many, many pushes of the delete button 😂 The story and characters are continuously developing, but please know that for right now, this is a first draft. I try to make it as perfect as I can to still post daily, but I know it is still full of mistakes. As the author, your feedback is extremely important to me. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

​The Emotional Partition: The Hunger of the First Draft ​A soft, elegant knock came from the other side of the door. Not a scratch this time, but the confident rap of a woman who knows she owns the building. ​"Nora, dear," Christina’s voice purred through the wood. "Why fight it? Look at your son. He was never meant for a council flat. He was meant for a throne. The 'First Draft' isn't a villain. It’s the Raw Desire. It’s the version where you didn't have to be 'relatable' or 'good.' It’s the version where you and Julian burned the world down just to be together."

They lived like royalty while we suffered like slaves. I got to work, sweeping the floors. The task was exhausting, and the pain in my feet flared up again. I sighed, glancing at the massive bed. Without thinking, I threw myself onto it. The softness enveloped me, and for a fleeting moment, I felt a bit of peace. My long, curly black hair tumbled out of its bun, spreading across the bed like a dark halo. I probably looked ridiculous, but I didn’t care. It was the first comfort I’d felt in days.

You really didn’t have to, and you still did, and I’m so happy that you came along for the ride. I’ve really been struggling with the knowledge that this thing is ending, even though I know full well that I’ve taken this story as far as it’s meant to go, at least in this chapter of the characters’ lives. However, it also allowed me to rediscover my passion for writing, and I’m so grateful. I am once again writing a few new works and prepping for submissions to more platforms as many of you guys have kindly suggested I should do. During the time I've been working on SIR, I've also completed the first and second drafts of a new novel, and I have completed 30k+ words of another first draft. So

The city was a constellation of lights beneath us, blinking and breathing through the night fog. I’d lost count of how many hours I’d been holed up in Kyl’s office or rather my new office, technically drafting what was supposed to be the first few chapters of his ghostwritten memoir. But nothing about this project felt ghostly. If anything, it felt too real.

Nicole looked at the clock in the room and said, “I’m kind of in a hurry so I’ll make my story brief and comprehensive. After breaking your heart, I owe you an explanation my darling Muhammad.” Muhammad tried switching on the radio on his belt, in hope that anyone on the other end could listen to the conversation if the signal was restored.
