She then opened her online novel app and checked the notification for the latest episode update of the ongoing novel she was following. Suddenly, Emily burst into laughter as she began to read the romantic comedy novel. Line by line, paragraph by paragraph, her beautiful eyes followed along. Reading romantic comedy novels was always a mood booster for Emily. Besides enjoying the fantasy, Emily also gleaned moral lessons from them. For her, reading was not just about entertainment but also about capturing the positive side, which was the main goal of every writer.

And I like the way your mouth moves when you’re focused.” I rolled my eyes, but my cheeks heated anyway. I reached over, grabbed the worn novel, and settled back on his chest. He rested one hand on my thigh and the other behind his head, looking completely at peace. I flipped to the first page and started reading. It was a story where a girl leaving a town that no longer felt like home, finding herself in unfamiliar places, learning how to build something new from all the pieces that used to hurt.

I reply in Japanese, hoping it'll make her feel better. "Yes, I'll definitely rise above this disappointment and reclaim my faith in love! I absolutely refuse to let one guy's actions define my perception of true love!" "Great! Which Japanese novel are you reading currently?" I ask. She told me, at her home, they mostly speak in English and the Japanese she learned is mostly from novels than from her parents. "These days, I'm reading Banana Yoshimoto. Why?" "Nothing, I think you should actually try writing stories or even novels in Japanese."

English is not my First language so forgive me if you found any silly grammatical error. This story is kind of slow burn Romance. It has mature scenes that may trigger you. And last but not the least, support me if you liked it.

First of all, thank you for giving this story a chance. I would like to grab your attention on few things. 1) English isn't my first language. 2) This is my first story. 3) This story is just my imagination and it do not have any connection with real world. 4) Its my original work and I don't allow or permit anyone to copy my work. 5) Their is nothing like separation, drama and serious fights between the protagonists. 6) This story contains romance, comedy and suspense, means a clićhe story.
