The kitchen was filled with the comforting scent of sizzling garlic and soy sauce as Nova and Chloe moved around, trying to follow the instructions from a Korean cooking video they had found online. The kitchen counter was cluttered with ingredients—bottles of sesame oil, bowls of marinated meat, and chopped vegetables, all contributing to the chaotic yet somehow organized mess.

She looked up at him. "Get a pen and paper and write down ten reasons why your friend thinks I am a pervert," he ordered. Sarah's mouth parted in horror. She thought he was never going to bring up the phone call. "This Beef Wellington is delicious, Mrs Sarah; where did you learn to make it?" Aron tried to help her out. Sarah turned, taking a breather as she coughed. "Hell's Kitchen, a cooking show," she replied. Ezra's icy eyes glared at Aron and then at Sarah

Today I am home alone; Kaden at work; like four important meetings going on so he couldn't miss it, and Kol is at the pack house doing fighting training with the teens. I'm in the kitchen keeping busy; I think my book called it nesting. I can't stay still so I'm making dinner; lamb casserole with dumplings and profiteroles for pudding. Omanomanom! The kitchen smells amazing! After finishing my cooking, I place the casserole in the fridge as well as the cream filled profiteroles. I start cleaning; despite having the staff around the house, I can't stop myself. ************ I feel slightly energetic today.

I guess Keith is getting bored already. I immediately excused myself after eating then headed to the kitchen. The chefs and maids bowed at me as soon as I entered. The kitchen was busy but the atmosphere didn’t feel chaotic. "Is Noah here?" I asked. "Hey, Princess!" I heard Noah call from one of the stations. I walked towards him and saw that he was reading a recipe book. I noticed that his station was organized and not messy at all. There was only a book leaning on the metal border.

"Well, obviously you'll cater the affair to knock Elena's socks off to send good word back to New York. And I'll help you put together a proposal." Feeling as if she at least had a direction, Athena grabbed a notebook from the counter. "Let's talk menu." * * * Athena paced a tight circle around the island in the inn's kitchen, mentally reviewing her lists. The charcuterie trays were finished. The cheese boards were loaded. The crudités were laid out in a rainbow of foodie perfection. Every public room on the lower floor of the inn was set up with elegantly-appointed food tables that represented the different regions highlighted in Kennedy's book. A culinary journey for the guests of the trav

“Alright, you should leave now, Koven. The kitchen is smoking up, so you shouldn't stand around in here." Lucy pushed Koven out, and not long after, she emerged from the kitchen with sauteed broccoli, roasted pork, beef and potato casserole, and a large plate of freshly cut fruit salad. The sight of the food made Koven’s mouth water. “I spent so long studying abroad and still can’t cook. Cooking is like my weakness, but it seems like you can do everything!”

Kein wasn’t the kind of man that cried, ever. “Well, I do have to eat.” I pulled out the pots and began maneuvering around the kitchen. By the time Kein walked in, the house was hot and smelling good already. I didn’t know why I cooked so many dishes. I had beef strips in one. I had mac and cheese in another. I had a veggie stir fry in another. In the oven baked chocolate biscuits. All I heard was a door closing and by the time I turned from the oven Kein was long gone.

Edith’s lips curved faintly. “Every good story needs both.” Next, Clara turned to Lena. “For you… something sweet. And no, not edible—because I know you’d finish that before I finished talking.” Lena gasped dramatically as she tore open her package, revealing a set of colorful, handcrafted kitchen utensils and a small recipe book filled with local dishes from the city. “Oh. My. Goodness,” Lena whispered. “This is amazing!” “You can try new recipes,” Clara said. “And maybe… teach us?”

I interject before he makes even more excuses for his asshole of a brother. As we walked into the kitchen, I immediately fall in love! This was my dream kitchen; a colour scheme of charcoal and cream, a large island and breakfast nook in the middle, a double oven and hob, stovetop built into the island. Pots, pans and any kind of utensil and appliance you could ever need. “Okay, I am in love right now,” I say, as I walk around the kitchen and hear Dario chuckle. “I am guessing you like to cook?” he asks, and I nod excitedly when I open the fridge. Bacon, eggs, mushroom, cream, garlic, cheese, peppers, spices and herbs; the making of the perfect omelette.

Communication was poor in the community, which meant that grandparents had to drive towards Lovell or to the resort where they installed an amplifier. They left and I was left alone in the house. The smell of burning was already wafting from the kitchen. With difficulty, she got up from the couch, slowly walked into the kitchen through the swinging door, and turned off the oven. Usually, Norma's grandmother's kitchen looked like housewives from the fifties. Everything is in perfect order, according to the precepts of Julia Child, whose cookbook has been on the shelf for as long as I can remember. But not today. Everything was thrown half way. The flour was still on the table, the vegetables
