The Carrero Effect

The Carrero Effect

There’s something extremely homely and domestic about his voice calling through this house looking for me, sexy and husky as always. “Down here.” I call back, padding into the kitchen to admire my shiny new appliances. I’m surprised to find a full ready to use kitchen, stocked cupboards, and bursting refrigerator. Sylvana’s trademark Tupperware in the huge double steel doors and shelves; all labeled with heating instructions, she has thought of everything.

Melissa
Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Chapter 129 The kitchen was a humid, claustrophobic box that felt less like a room for nourishment and more like a chamber of penance. The air was a thick, greasy soup of boiled turnip, old cabbage, and the metallic tang of the radiator that hissed like a dying viper in the corner.

The CEO'S Wildflower Bride

The CEO'S Wildflower Bride

She quietly slipped out of bed and out of the room, careful enough not to wake Niklas, and made her way to the expansive kitchen she had identified, from the clanking of pots she had overheard from the workers who were obviously planning to make breakfast for the family. Andrea had always prided herself on her cooking skills, but this kitchen was unlike anything she had ever seen. Stainless steel appliances gleamed, and every utensil imaginable was neatly arranged inside the cupboards. It were as if the kitchen was a store that sold cooking and kitchen wares. "Madam, what brings you here?" One of the maids asked her, curious to know if she had been awoken from her sleep because she had been

The Alphas Slave

The Alphas Slave

Heidi snapped, clearly annoyed. She made her way down the corridor, walking fast. I followed her down the corridor and up the stairs, and soon we were walking down the hallway of the mansion. We made our way down another hall, then another, this place was a maze I realized. I followed on Heidi's heels not wanting to get lost. Before I knew it, we were standing in a magnificent kitchen, which was modern with expensive and top of the range appliances. There were numerous girls in the kitchen, preparing raw meat, which was set out on top of various benches and tables within the huge kitchen. The girls were all cutting the meat up and putting it onto serving trays. It was amazing to me, how quie

Mrs Unknown

Ruth said as she led the way leading to the kitchen, as they head down stairs, the smell of something delicious could be smelt, the smell she missed while walking through the house in marvel, as they approached the kitchen door the smell intensify making her more hungry but as soon as the kitchen door was pushed open Divine again was lost in awe. The kitchen was a marvel of both design and functionality, a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. Sunlight poured through the large, mullioned windows, bathing the room in a warm, golden hue. The scent of fresh herbs, garlic, and roasting vegetables filled the air, promising a meal that would tantalize the taste buds.

Young Bride in a Lightning Marriage: Never Tired of Mr. Leon’s Love

Young Bride in a Lightning Marriage: Never Tired of Mr. Leon’s Love

“Alright, you should leave now, Koven. The kitchen is smoking up, so you shouldn't stand around in here." Lucy pushed Koven out, and not long after, she emerged from the kitchen with sauteed broccoli, roasted pork, beef and potato casserole, and a large plate of freshly cut fruit salad. The sight of the food made Koven’s mouth water. “I spent so long studying abroad and still can’t cook. Cooking is like my weakness, but it seems like you can do everything!”

A Man Like Aaron Ashgroove

A Man Like Aaron Ashgroove

I am so perplexed. She doesn't even turn to answer me, just continues up the stairs and out of view. Leaving me with no other option than to go into the kitchen. And if I had thought the living room was grand, the kitchen is out of this world. it's got a waterfall counter top, and the horizontal bars of the pendant lights artfully align with the brass trim on the cabinetry behind it. No way! is that a La Cornue's Château model stove! I bet Aurora has never even cooked with it before.

You’ll see when you’ve been here a few days and learnt about Lord Burnet’s habits. ‘I can’t wait,’ Karen said ironically, beginning to resent this high and mighty personage who had not yet deigned to meet her. The kitchen had every amenity: blue Delftware tiles, a washing machine, tumble dryer, cathedralstyle light-oak units and matching leaded-glass wall cupboards. The fridge-freezer was stocked with essentials: milk with a two-inch layer of gold-tinted cream, primrose butter, a wedge of tongue-tingling Chedder cheese. A farmhouse loaf with a mouth-watering crusty brown to sheltered in the bread bin. There were reliable stand-bys in the larder — baked beans, tuna fish and plum tomatoes - an

The Whispers in the Woods

The Whispers in the Woods

The majority were historical fiction by authors I recognised, but the bottom shelf appeared to be crime thrillers. “Thank you for the invitation, Helena.” I turned towards the kitchen as I spoke, where Helena was stirring a saucepan on the gleaming white freestanding stove. Small sections of pine units and a granite worktop flanked her. Unlike Jackson’s cabin, their island had a sink and a separate white porcelain draining board. The room was L-shaped, and in the final section was a four-seater dining table.
