I grabbed it and saw a message from an unknown number. : Hi, this is Lurcos. I forgot you dad gave me your number so I called you before fetching you up. Anyways, have a good night's sleep, Princess. I didn’t know how it happened, but my heart feels like it's jumping in so much joy. Does this kind of thing really happen? Weird. I didn’t feel this way the first time I laid my eyes on him. This started when we started getting along. : Ok, nighty-night!

He then continues the conversation by asking, "So what is the mysterious princess's name?" The nameless girl was about to speak when the large guard interrupts. "She is Princess Delila, second in line to the throne of Laidian." He's clearly not a fan of Alejandro. Making sure he knows that Delila is extremely important. As well as adequately guarded and well protected.

Every Pack-member has heard about their story, but no one has ever seen Princess Dezra because she wants to keep her family out of the public eye. Walker listens as the Elder tells them about the Princess drugging her Protector to get away from the Palace in secret and about her return after several years. They discover that Princess Dezra had lied about the bond between her and Prince Darron and that she had, in fact, rejected her true Mate-bond after their child was born. “Princess Dezra lied to King Vaughn about miscarrying her first pregnancy and she stole the necklace from the family vault to make sure her Daughter would never shift into a Lycan if that were her fate.” The Elder conclud

CHAPTER 25: The fairytale princess and the wild gods (1)Princess Elara POV I crossed the ancient mossy borderstone with trembling steps, my silk gown brushing against my skin in a flirty way. The forbidden woods embraced me as soon as I stepped in and the air thickened into something alive and warm, sweet with jasmine and damp earth, pulsing with a raw power that made my nipples pebble and my core clench with a shameful, unfamiliar ache. I was Princess Elara, pure and dutiful, raised on lullabies of virtue and royal sacrifice. Yet tonight, desperation for my starving kingdom had driven me here… and a hidden, wicked curiosity I had buried deep in my heart now stirred awake.

And yet, something had. The warmth she had grown used to faded in subtle ways. Conversations lowered when she passed. Smiles became polite rather than genuine. She caught fragments of whispers she didn’t fully understand. “Poor thing...” “She’s fortunate the Don took her in.” “Still, Young Master Soren is the true heir.” The voices always stopped when they noticed her. No one spoke harshly to her. They bowed, addressed her respectfully, and carried on with their duties. But something was missing.

⸻ Days passed in a haze of quiet investigation, and rumors began drifting in from every trade route at once, carried by merchants who all told some version of the same impossible story, their voices dropping low with the kind of reverence usually reserved for gods. A forgotten kingdom had returned. Its lost princess had woken. She commanded a wolf made of silver light, chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, and every kingdom bordering hers had gone quiet with the shock of it. I refused to believe it until a merchant in the market square said her name without knowing I was listening, his hands still busy weighing grain, his voice pitched only for the woman beside him. “Her name is Princess Felic

"Then the sleeping queen will wake up. What does that mean, Novalee? Why are you shaking?" She dropped into the nearest wooden chair, her knees giving out. "It is an old story. A nursery rhyme from the old lands. A legend." "Tell me," I demanded. "The princess falls into a deep sleep," Novalee said, her voice trembling. "While she sleeps, the kingdom rots from the inside out. Fire licks the earth. The sky turns green because the witches are stripped of their magic, their power bleeding into the soil as nature dies. The princess wakes up in a graveyard. She walks alone through the ash, and she calls herself queen."

No sound of traffic, no distant hum of technology, nothing but a stillness that made her feel like she was walking through a forgotten graveyard. She looked around, her heart beating faster as the realization sank in: this was **Nyxterra**. The place she had only heard whispered rumors about, a world where lost memories supposedly went to die. It was said that those who wandered too far into the shadows of Nyxterra rarely came back. The city itself was a labyrinth of half-formed structures, their outlines blurred as though they were fading in and out of existence, forgotten by time and memory.

“Exiles own the water, ma’am. Whatever your brother or the Captain told you was a lie. They have no idea what they’ll be facing. Exiles have granted us passage from time to time, but this ship is carrying two Royals. I doubt they’ll look the other way now.” “My brother has sailed these seas for years.” “He’s a Prince. You’re a Princess. Do you know what a pirate would do to get his hands on you? They’d defy every law in the book to capture a gem like that.” I felt queasy. “My sister has sailed this very journey. I think we are fine; all due respect.” He smiled and I realized why they called him Fang. His canines looked like they’d been filed into actually fangs. “Your sister is not you, Prin
