William replied "that was why I couldn't decide what intrigued him immediately he arrived." "Now, that's deep? Why don't you tell us that before we arrived on the island?" Scott asked. "Because I never knew they were the creators of the Unholy Books, I thought it was Lilith." William responded angrily feeling pathetic. It was then obvious even the councils don't know everything. "Then which generation came first?" Scott asked attentively placid.

Reminds me of the house in The Great Gatsby. "Your house is beautiful Mr. Lave..err...William," I stammered. "Thank you. I worked very hard to accumulate this much wealth. I assume a young man like you will be able to get here at some point. I wish, old man! I thought. My eyes wandered around the room. I saw a few picture frames on the mantle so I decided to check them out. Mr. Laverne didn't say anything and let me conduct my own observation.

The first novel I read was by Louisa May Alcott; Little Woman, and then moved on to other feminist novels such as Handmaid's Tale and Pride and Prejudice—the book I'm holding right now. Well, I shouldn't be going around the library looking for a novel I like because what I'm supposed to be doing is taking care of a crazy bastard named Rhysand del Millero, who's on the phone. But I don't want to do that. I'd rather buy time with the books in front of me until the helicopter he's waiting for comes over to the bullshit he started. Damn, I hate this situation. I hate being stuck with a domineering, powerful man who loves to be heard more than to hear, and hates that I can't do anything.

Maybe William was using her to get closer to Haley and Shane. Time passed, and around nine in the evening, the sound of keys rattling outside the door broke her daze. The door opened, and William entered. He was dressed in a white suit and carrying bags of vegetables and fruits. Jenny stared at him, dazed. William was indeed very handsome. In his suit, he looked tall and elegant, with chiseled features like a nobleman from a Western palace. His every move exuded grace, contrasting sharply with the shabby apartment.

I didn’t need any more distractions, I was determined to finish the book today, which I did. I stretched getting up from my seat to return my novel to the shelf I had picked it from, I strolled back to the table to pick up my used plate, leaving the library behind, I walked into the kitchen where I placed the plates in the kitchen sink after which I proceeded up to William’s room, gently pushing the door open to his room, I walked over to his side table and immediately noticed William absence in the room, I heard the water running in the bathroom. Just as I was about to leave the room, the bathroom door opened and William walked out with only a towel around his waist.

WILLIAM “You've been summoned, William.” I heard the mistress say and I raised a brow at her as she slid into the seat beside me. “Summoned? I'm done for the night, Mistress.” I muttered, counting my tips and frowning a bit when I noticed it was a little smaller than what I usually earned. “He asked for you specifically,” Mistress said, her hands folded and I finally paused, looking at her in confusion. “He? You know I don't do men, Mistress. There are other gay men in the club, why me?” I questioned, shoving my money into my pocket and she shrugged.

William must have read these novels over and over for the outside covers to look so worn. I picked up the book on top of the stack, flipping to the first page. It was a cozy mystery, one that I had read. My heart did a funny little flip and I couldn’t help but think about book store dates with him. Of nights spent curled up on the couch, the two of us both reading while the fire kept us warm. It wasn’t a thought I should be having. I couldn’t date William, sure he had claimed me, but I was going to get us out of here. Then I’d never see him or his brothers again.

William closed the book, setting it aside. The door opened and the maid walked in, nodding politely. “Sir, you have a visitor. She's waiting for you at the living room,” the maid informed. “She?” William wondered. This will be the first time a female is coming to visit him. Could it be Cecilia, his cousin? William kissed Jessica's lips before standing up, “I'll be back,” he muttered before leaving. William left the room, walking downstairs to the living room. His steps slowed down when his gaze landed on the back of a woman who stood before a portrait, her hands running through it. She had long curly red hair.

I didn't like the tone of her voice and the look on her face but I held my peace and quietly exit the car “I knew one day the werewolf and vampires will come onboard” William jecked “ William!” I cried out and banged the car door unconsciously before running off when I saw the hard glare on mums face. I am surely going to have Williams's head Running into my room, not having what else to do I sat in front of my makeshift table in my room and opened the latest novel I was reading and started going through it. The buzz of my phone got my attention and my face widened with a smile when I saw who was calling

I gulped audibly while I was pushing my thighs together so no wetness would escape. This William was different from the one I knew. He was still kind and a complete gentleman. But his words, his possessiveness…that was something new to me completely. What did I get myself into?
