To challenge the Moon Goddess herself.” Draven stood, fury burning through the guilt. “Not while I’m breathing.” He looked down at Liora once more — her face pale, her hands trembling over the life growing inside her. “Rest,” he said softly. “I’ll deal with him.” Then he turned and left, his eyes burning gold as his wolf rose to the surface. But as he went out, trying to find out why Corvin is after Liora, he noticed two slim people lying in the dirt covered with blood, their wolf not yet maxed out..
