She didn't ask for one of those flavored additives for the coffee. After she ate she wandered around the cabin a little. He smiled at me and slipped the tray through a slot in the door. "How do I know that it's not poisoned?" I demanded as I eyed the sandwich. He smirked and pulled it back. He kept eye contact as he took a bite of it and then slid it through again. "Happy?" he asked as he rolled a bottle of water through. I checked the bottle's seal and for holes. Finding it all intact, I opened it and took a large gulp. Stuart grinned at me and nodded as I cautiously approached the sandwich and picked it up. I frowned when I spotted the ham on it and picked it off as Stuarts face turned into a frown as well. I put the ham back on the plate and nibbled on the sandwich.
