O Swear Not By The Moon Novels & Stories

I said resolutely. Papa flashed me a proud smile and nodded with me. It was quiet for a moment, and I could tell that he was trying to figure out how to say something. I squeezed his hand reassuringly. I felt the tension in the room rise. I looked to Xander who looked at me with uncertainty. Whatever we were about to hear was not going to be good. “I was not supposed to present myself early, but the mission would fail if I did not. The Moon has grown impatient, a flaw of hers grounded in the misconception that she is the ultimate authority. Ezekiel made a deal with her, and she surely does love her deals.”

--- #### The Moon-Oath Circle Midnight bells tolled as Ophelia padded to the courtyard balcony. Below, unsleeping sentries rousted muttering supporters from torchlit alcoves. Thunderheads crowded the moon, but one silver beam speared down on the freshly chiseled stone circle—the site Dylan had ordered crews to carve for moon-oaths. She traced the pattern with her eyes: concentric rings, outer runes marking honesty, inner ring etched with the pack’s emblem—a wolf guarding a single star.

**The Silent Treatment** Elder Thorne stood beneath the ethereal glow of the moonlight, his heart swelling with both reverence and awe as he faced the moon goddess, a divine figure of unmatched beauty and power. Her silvery robes flowed around her like a celestial waterfall, shimmering gently as the soft breeze rustled the leaves overhead. The moon's radiant light poured forth, illuminating the sacred glade where he had ventured, his spirit filled with hope and purpose, seeking the moon goddess's wisdom to guide Caden, the young alpha, in his quest for a suitable luna.

I also reviewed some of the pack's financial records, making sure everything was in order. As the morning wore on, I decided to take a walk in the pack's gardens. The fresh air and sunshine would do me some good, and I needed a break from the confines of the pack house. As I strolled through the gardens, I saw something I never noticed before. In the center of the clearing stood a large, ancient-looking tree. And carved into the trunk of the tree was a symbol I recognized — the symbol of the Lunar Curse. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at the symbol. The Lunar Curse was a legendary affliction that caused werewolves to lose control of their wolves during full moons. It was said

They just laid in each other's arms and slept off. ******************************* Beatrice dropped her phone, a bit annoyed that Daniel didn't pick her calls. She has been trying hard to reach him but his phone kept on ringing. Where was he? He could at least drop a message if he was busy. It's going to be a full moon tomorrow and they are supposed to transform together as a rite of passage into the married world. They were supposed to run together in the woods in their werewolf form. Last month, they agreed to do it but he postponed it to this month due to reasons best known to him. She knows he is trying to stall. She has been making arrangements for the wedding and he did so little. She

The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission. "You will heal and treat her," I said, reigning my wolf in so I didn't actually murder him for refusing not only an order, but to heal my mate. His Luna. He nodded and went to pick her up, but I snarled at him, making him jump back. Dean walked in and I think he knew what was going on.

“Anyway… the Red Moon Ceremony is in two days. Are you all ready to meet your mates?” “Please, I've been waiting since I turned eight two weeks ago,” Lyxaria groaned. “If mine doesn’t smell like sandalwood and trouble, I’m rejecting him immediately.” They all laughed except me. “I’m scared,” Thessia admitted. “What if the Moon Goddess binds me to someone I don’t even like? What if he’s cruel? Or worse… boring?” Mariah stretched her legs out and sighed. “Or what if he’s perfect but already taken?”

he added as he tries to shrug the words he just said. “That the only two creatures in this world who can’t see each other is King Sun and the Priestess Moon” she said “Then fate played her role, and give this gift to us” she added as if the joke tends to hurt her more. They both laugh. “I will always send the wind to be with you, Luan.” “I will always ask the sea to sing for you, Aelius.”

“Your life? That’s the thing in question.” “I swear on the Moon Goddess!” I sobbed. ‘Surely they would remember that swearing on the Moon Goddess was a sacred act and believe me?” She tilted her head, that same mocking smile on her face. “Oh sweetie! The Moon Goddess? Do you think she listens to traitors?” “I’m not a traitor!” I yelled. “You’re in a room with traitors,” the man pointed out calmly. “That makes you one by default. Want to know what they do to traitors?”

“Yes.” The moon flared—furious now. I stepped forward, power roaring through my veins. “You lied in the moon’s name.” Her smile faltered. “That,” I said, voice shaking the ground, “is unforgivable.” The sky cracked. Light poured down like fire. The moon’s voice thundered through the clearing—not sound, but command. TRIAL. Everyone dropped to their knees. Even Morwen. My breath came hard. The moon’s power surged into me, burning, searing, claiming.
