BLOOD FOR A BRIDE

BLOOD FOR A BRIDE

“We…don’t…speak…it.” Coward, the Zenaida-voice inside me hissed. “Then draw it,” I said. “In the blood you were so eager to spill.” I lifted my boot, just enough for him to move his arm. He hesitated, then dragged his fingers through the puddle of red by his leg. His hand shook as he traced on the concrete, rain already working to blur the lines. The symbol that emerged was ugly in its simplicity: a circle with a line through the center, and four smaller cuts radiating outward like claw marks.

Demi Lova
I hope Asaariah won't be weak Montova's daughter, hoping for a strong Fl. I was imagining each scene like a movie..I was getting furious by the pain they were making her go through.. The siblings and Dad are something else; idiots..Thanks to the character that helped the Fl with her cuts and pain

The female lead's pain is so saddening and the way she still perseveres is truly remarkable. The first five chapters was so engaging and I would love to continue. I'll add to my library for updates so I don't miss anything.

The moon rocks lost luna

The moon rocks lost luna

Four short strokes crossed by a longer one formed a shape that meant nothing obvious to him, but the precision behind it made one thing certain. This had not been done by accident. Oscar ran his fingers carefully over the mark, feeling the faint roughness where the bark had been disturbed. The edges were still sharp. “Recent,” he murmured. Lyra studied the symbol in silence, her brow furrowing slightly. “Do you recognize it?” He shook his head. “No.” The forest around them remained quiet, the distant sound of running water from the stream barely reaching the ridge. Somewhere nearby a bird shifted in the branches overhead before taking flight, its wings beating sharply against the air.

MY STEPBROTHER ALPHA'S DIRTY OBSESSION

MY STEPBROTHER ALPHA'S DIRTY OBSESSION

"Do you?" Marcus opens the book. Lays it on the desk facing me. I step closer. A drawing fills the page. A symbol. Simple but precise. A crescent moon with a single line through its center. The floor tilts beneath me. I've seen that symbol every day of my life. "Roll down your collar," Marcus says quietly. My fingers move before I decide to let them. I pull the fabric aside. The birthmark beneath my collarbone catches the firelight. Crescent moon, Line through the center.

A black background. A white circle divided into nine lines. The same symbol from the envelope. One sentence slowly appeared beneath it. WELCOME TO THE GAME.

CHOKEHOLD; Trapped By My Ex

CHOKEHOLD; Trapped By My Ex

"You've appeared on the board thrice tonight. With official signal. How do you think that came about?" "Official signal?" I repeated, frowning in confusion. "What is that? I only got to know about the board tonight." Mark moved then. Closer to me but facing the electronic board above him. Pointing. "See the other name below yours? Notice the lack of red lines underneath it, unlike yours?" I stared at it, and sure enough there was no red lines underneath the other name. But there was on mine. 3 lines. "I see it,"

I think this one was the best I’ve read in the series. I also saw the writer’s development improvements. I’m sad I finished it already but excited for the next ones to come :) good job author thanks for the amazing read and the laughs and tears this book brought ...🩷

I can’t choose a favorite anymore. It’s just too good. This was the book I enjoyed most, 1) because I relate a lot to the FL (character wise) and 2) because it seemed like both leads were communicating a lot better than in the other books, which leads to less frustrating misunderstandings.

Onda

Onda

"Good morning class. We have a new student amongst us today. Can you please stand and introduce yourself?" I confidently stand up from my seat beside Thea. "Hello everyone. I'm Onda. Onda Silver Thorne." "Talk about weird names." A male voice behind me says causing some people to snicker. I ignore him and continue. “I’m 17 years old and I’m from…” I can’t say Zorah now can I? Say Australia. "Australia?" That came out more as a question. "Where in Australia?" The teacher asks. Katherine. "Katherine?" That also came out as a question.

"How were you able to identify it at all?" Dennis seemed to remember then that she was still fairly new to the operation and he calmed himself down to explain. "You see, Miss Months, every item in Olympus's storage has been tagged with a Doomsday beacon, which as the name implies, is only activated when said item is activated in a such a manner as to be classified as a doomsday.

Virando also sounded out his argumentation. “Quite right, My Beloved Brother Vir... As a matter of fact, the real answer lies on this picture...” Sumico was seen pointing at the picture of the womanhood symbol – a circle with its cross downwards. Everybody was following Sumico’s index finger. “This picture is partially covered with dirt and dust. Do you see another line on the same circle?” Sumico drew their focuses towards the blurred line on the right brim of the similar circle. Everybody was paying their intensely sharp as well as attentive attentions towards the womanhood symbol. It was indeed true. Besides the cross downwards, they could also see another not too clear and obvious line o
