O With Line Over It Novels & Stories

I have had my own fair share of problems. I twirled the needle around my finger and missed, dropping into a puddle of oil. How it got there I didn't know. I quickly picked it up and cleaned it with my clothes. And something very interesting came to light that instant. On the sides of the of the needle was something engraved on it, like a calligraphy. I peeked even a closer and I was able to make out something. It had initials T. Y and O. W and some other things I couldn't quite make out. My heart skipped a bit. I know of the O. W but the T. Y? Who the hell is that and why was it engraved on this needle?

I sat cross-legged at my desk, my textbook open, pen in hand, highlighter poised like I was about to strike… but the words refused to stick. The same sentence had been glaring up at me for the past ten minutes, and I couldn’t remember a single thing it said. I underlined it twice just to pretend I was doing something productive, but my mind kept looping back to the field. The sound of the whistle. The applause. The way Damian’s smile had shifted, glowing for her instead of me.

Completely. Irrevocably. Over.

“There’s… something on the back.” Zoe snatched the paper and turned it over. “What? I don’t see anything—oh. Hold up. Wait… what’s this?” A small line of ink, faint like it had been written in a hurry, stretched across the bottom: JX-74//OCT-12-ACCESS I frowned. “What’s this?” Zoe squinted. “I thought you're a tech expert. Why are you asking me?” “I'm not an expert. I haven't even graduated.”

There is a rectangular hole in the top of the crate. CALL HER NAME TO OPEN THE CRATE! The inscription on the top of the crate. "Who?" "I don't know." Emily circled the box and found a plank leaning behind her. It says "Ouija" at the top. Then the letters of the alphabet are arranged in a curved shape. At the bottom there are numbers from 0 to 9. The upper left corner contains a picture of the moon, while the top right has an image of the sun.
