I stumbled into the path of a fucking villain. Well, calling it a squad back then was generous. It was just Regis and a silent Class A Beta who looked like he wanted to be anywhere else in the world. I remembered crawling through the high itchy grass, bruised and bleeding, only to look up and see Regis leaning against a thick oak tree, a wicked, lazy smirk on his face. He didn't help me. Of course he didn't. Why would he? He was Regis Nightshade— a bastard, dirtier than the devil himself, who cared about nothing and no one.

Who was still a force to be reckoned with. Because sometimes, being the villain isn’t about taking. It’s about showing that you exist. That you matter. That you can shake the balance. And today? I did all of that.

I've watched a lot of movies where the villains hide their secrets in the most unimaginable places, and someone as shady as Diego wouldn't be an exception. "I can't believe I labeled him as a villain already," I said with a groan. "And you got married to a villian, what does that make you as the main character? Someone thoughtless and dumb? It doesn't always end well with the villains," my subconscious mind teased me.

The Villain I'm wiping down the counter at the diner when all chatter ceases expeditiously. I look up to find the reason for the lack of breath from most of the patrons standing at the doorway, angry green eyes fixed on me. I unconsciously gulped as he stalked closer, eyes narrowed. "Aren't you forgetting something?" I looked around, every eye in the diner was fasten on us. "Um.. no?" I said unsurely. He came up to the counter, his arms flexing under his shirt as he grips the marble. "We made a deal, princess. Don't tell me you go back on your promises."

It is advised to retreat and flee immediately! "What?" Keagan muttered to himself, his confusion growing. The screen continued to bombard him with flashing text, saturating his vision with its rapid display. Nathan saved her, and it became a classic tale of the prince saving the ordinary girl, just like in many romantic stories. People loved to read these kinds of stories. As the couple's story gained popularity on campus, it became evident that it needed a villain, a malicious character who would bully Cinderella and try to steal her prince away. I was perfect for that role.

The TV screen loaded for some seconds before it played some shameful moments of Aubrey. On the first part, The TV screen was dark and nobody could actually see it clearly, but it would could squint his or her eyes properly one could clearly see a woman on top of a man, she was holding a bottle of Vodka as she threatened the man. "Hey, if you don't do what I say, I will make sure to end your family life, you know I can do that, oh and I will make it look like you raped me in front of the camera" She drank the bottle as she spat on the face.

Present Viviana's eyes gleamed with a sinister light as she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Someone will be here soon," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "And then, you'll be gone." Valerie knew she had to act fast. She tried to free herself, but Viviana was too strong. In a desperate bid to escape, Valerie struggled and kicked, but Viviana was ready for her. With a swift motion, Viviana brought the gun handle down on Valerie's head, sending her crashing to the ground.

Lila's POV I stood tall, my heart pounding with excitement and fear. Ryker and Adrian flanked me, their eyes fixed on the true villain. The air was electric with tension as we faced off against our enemy. "You fools," the villain sneered, their voice dripping with malice. "You think you can defeat me? I have the power of the ancient ones at my command!" Ryker snarled, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We'll never back down," he growled.
