Chapter 1 I woke slowly with my head pounding, feeling very disoriented. It was pitch black in my room as I opened my eyes. I reached over to turn my bedroom lamp on, but felt nothing. Where was my lamp? And then it all came back flooding to me. Liam kidnapped. Claire and the pack missing. The imprint.

Olivia's POV: Darkness swirled around me, a thick, suffocating presence that refused to let go. I relived the same nightmares repeatedly: I had begun to believe that I was going to be stuck in this horrible place forever. The oppressive blackness seemed endless until a voice, faint but insistent, pierced through the void. "Olivia… Olivia…"

I threw on my leather jacket and a pair of boots. "Who's first?" Natalia stepped forward. "Alright." I took her hand. She nodded and we disappeared. The cold nothingness surrounded me. We popped back into existence. Hell was hot and humid. I could feel the damp air pressing against my skin. We stood before a black spire of dark obsidian. Veins of glowing gold fire laced the surface of the polished black stone. Natalia dropped my hand and led the way. The sharp spike drew tall into the dusky sky. As we drew deeper into the city, the spires grew taller.

★𝕺𝖑𝖎𝖛𝖎𝖆 Darkness. For a blissful, fleeting moment, there was nothing but the soft oblivion of sleep. Then, a sharp, cold realization pierced the haze, dragging me back to the nightmare. Not my sister. My mate. The lost Alpha of Moonstone. The words Ronan's desperate voice, Elias's sorrowful confirmation crashed down on me, heavy and suffocating, each one a fresh hammer blow against my fractured reality.

I reply. I press my hand to the center of the binding circle, and the runes sink inward, folding space around the darkness like a closing fist. “Oblivion is not death,” I say softly. “It is irrelevance.” The last thing I feel from it is fury. Then… Nothing. The silence that follows is profound. It's not empty. It's complete. The world exhales and in that exhale, I feel them. Brynn. Frynn. My twin mates.

Blurred, my vision is blurred. I can't see the stars, or the ever changing moon. I can't hear the crow, or the darkness silence. I can't hear, I can't see, even silence, becomes a sound lost to me. Finish Minnie, smirking. "But nice try though," Johan smirked. "Good job," says a voice that clearly is from a voice changer. We all look back to the television, the screen is now purple. "You may enter, liberos meos." I smile proudly, watching the wall behind the desk slowly opens to a tunnel. Still smiling, I enter the tunnel behind Kelly and Britt. I was so proud of myself after taking down Hade, that I didn't notice Scout was tense ever since La Reu spoke.

My Nightmare Natty's POV It was morning already and last night was a long night. I never knew he was that insatiable.I lot count as to how many times we did it. Thinking about it, I smiled. I looked over to him and smiled more. He was still sleeping like a baby. I tried standing up but I felt pain in my thighs. I tried again but I just groaned. My groaning woke him up,he was baffled and asked. "Baby are you alright..."he asked in a husky voice.

Dark spots began dancing across my vision. The last things I saw were Ezra's horrified expression and the strange figure looming over me, their face obscured behind the dark cloth covering. Then everything faded to black as an endless night closed in around me. I don't know how long the inky oblivion lasted. All I knew was fear and the desperate need to wake up from this terrible nightmare I seemed to be trapped in…

My body glowed faintly, my fingers steady once more and my youth renewed. This was how it worked. I don’t just stop at stealing their lives. I steal their terrors too, draining them until what’s left is only their skeleton. Their nightmares were currency, and I was rich again. “Look at you,” I whispered, watching the trembling man. “A creature so easily undone by his own mind.” I lifted my hand, and his nightmare deepened. The forest around us melted into smoke. He stood at the edge of a cliff, the whispers of his lost family calling his name. He moved toward it, his voice cracking as he begged for it to stop.
