I glanced up at the third floor, then flicked the blood from my blade and said to Evan Olson beside me. "Brother Evan, drive the car into the courtyard first and lock the gate." Sure enough, just as the gate was locked, the surrounding zombies were drawn in by the earlier scream. Dozens of them swarmed the villa’s steel fence, beating against it frantically. A continuous CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! echoed through the air. The apocalypse started days ago, and they still don’t know to keep quiet?

Though he had not gotten the nature of the virus fully but he understood it was something not as fatal as everyone thought.
