Grayson Voss I was supposed to be in a meeting with a cartel rat who thought he could play both sides. Instead, I ended up in a club that reeked of sweat, desperation, and lies. Club Delirium. Ironically named, considering it mostly caters to men trying to forget reality with vodka and silicone. I wasn’t there for pleasure. I was there because the club owner was late on his payments. Some girls have told me that when it comes to sex, I can be a dirty motherfucker. For my dark and deep obsessions, I go to a club downtown. It’s a private member only club where you mask up and choose a mate for the night. The thought of luring Roxy to a club like that makes my dick want to play. I rake a hand through my head. I gawked at her, “What is it to you, Rose? You don't even like him; this is just some crazy obsession that you have.” Veins bulged on her forehead and neck, pulsing with rage. The cab ride was a blur, the city lights streaking past like mocking reminders of the life I wasn't living. "The most expensive champagne you have," I slurred to the bartender, the moment I was inside 'Obsidian,' a club that reeked of money and desperation. Julian's card felt warm in my hand, a physical manifestation of the power I was about to wield, however briefly.

Somehow, that didn't make her feel better. At precisely six o'clock, Gabriel's phone buzzed. He checked the message, then gestured toward the door. "Time to go." The drive took them out of the city to a sprawling estate in the wealthy northern suburbs. Wrought-iron gates opened automatically as their car approached, revealing manicured grounds surrounding a mansion that screamed old money. "Welcome to The Sanctuary," Gabriel said as they pulled up to the imposing front doors. "Mr. Castellano's private club for discerning members."

I need a break. Not only that, but I leave home and drive to the club, strange driving after so long, because it’s good years that I have a driver and never go out alone. But it’s like riding a bike, you can’t forget. When I get to the club, I immediately regret coming. It’s not my environment to relax. Not my environment at all. Point.

JACK POV “Get off me!” I yell at the bouncer as he drags me out of the club through the back door and pushes me to the floor. “Come on, Pavor. It’s good old Jack.” I try to appeal to the club owner who followed us out. “Go back to whatever hell you crawled out from and don’t come back.” Pavor warns, shutting the door in my face. “F*** you!” I curse. This is the third club I am getting kicked out from this night alone.

Sandro ran over to me just as my car door glided up. “She's still in the club,” he said out of breath. “Fabio confirmed.” I frowned. “Then get her location from the security cameras.” “Someone already beat us to it. All the club's footage for an hour during and after the meeting have disappeared.” My jaw clenched. Someone was deliberately covering their tracks. Not from me, obviously. Whoever they were, they didn't want Gabriel Leone finding out. “Confirm the occupants of every room booked in that building, and book out the rest.” I slid into the car already turned on. “I want the names of everyone in that club before I get there.”

She nods and holds my hand, rubbing the back of it. "Yeah, clubbing can ease your pain. You know getting funky and all that, drinking away your sorrows." ~~~~ 9PM, Spiral Clubhouse I swear that I really didn't agree with Blue in the first place but now, here I am, cladded in a revealing dress that barely reaches my knee. My stomach churn as we scurry our way in through the crowd. I really have a bad feeling about this but at the gulp of a tequila shot, my insecurities sink and I continue to drink irresponsibly— gulping down glass after glass.
