The Omegas guarding outside are restless too. Something is going down. I can see them from the monitor room in Blake’s place. I swear to God this place of his is bigger than three of my apartments back home.

HOME. Seems strange to think of my old life as home now. I feel more at home here with Blake’s stuff around me than I do anywhere else. Is it possible that he has become my home? Warmth creeps through my body and I feel comforted like somebody as has put a warm blanket around my shoulders on a cool fall evening.

“Will you pack it in,” I almost shout at my inner wolf. The pain she is giving me right now is through the roof. On a scale of one to ten, we’re at a twelve and climbing.

I miss Blake but I know he has a job to do. He lives and breathes hockey; he can’t give it up because of me and my whims. Although, I have to strongly advise that coming back to Anchorage is not a whim. It’s something I felt driven and compelled to do.
