Obsession Jewelry Novels & Stories

I felt the colour looked a little off so I had it packed for further investigations. We were about to leave when Jake saw a bracelet in the sand. He picked it up and when we inspected it, we saw an inscription inside it. The inscription was written in an ancient language but at the end, there were engraved images of a howling wolf and a black moon. We brought it back with us along with the discoloured food. We were about to take a bypass into the Crimson Rose territory when we smelt blood. We all spread out and saw a woman gasping for breath.

Leo’s breath froze in his lungs. The hand. Long fingers. The specific way the thumb pressed against the knuckle. And on the little finger… a ring. Heavy platinum. Set not with a gem, but with a flat, polished disc of obsidian, inlaid with a tiny, almost invisible sliver of ruby. Unique. Unmistakable.

« Putain…

"We can't, Nick. You don't know the kind of man my father is. My internship will be cancelled. I'll never get to step outside. You'll never see me again." Nick turns quiet, and I know he's reconsidering. "Then I guess we won't tell him." He says finally. "I'm not letting you go so easily." His words warm my heart, making me smile. "So this is between us." I say. "Besides, I want to know what he wants. Like, why has he made me his target? Who is he? What does he want from me?" "Things like this stem from obsession." Nick answers in a strange voice. "I think he's obsessed with you for certain reasons. We just need to find out why."

Seth said as he brought his hand to his chest. He balled his right palm in a fist and hit his chest loud enough for Mrs Larson to hear. "Don't do that, you will hurt yourself." She said as she tried to remove his hand from his chest. In truth, the only things that Mrs Larson care about after people that weren't her son was jewelry. Most of her single piece jewelries could buy other rich people's wardrobe single handedly. What started out as simply adoration and appreciation for beautiful things turned to be an obsession.

Dominic's fingers gently traced the mark on my neck, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "Would you like to go ring shopping?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. I nodded, unable to speak. "I know a place," he said. "Crescent Jewelers. They're known throughout the Northern Territory for their unique designs." At Crescent Jewelers, I was initially drawn to an extravagant diamond ring that sparkled under the display lights. "This one's beautiful," I said, pointing to the ostentatious piece. Dominic nodded but didn't comment. As the jeweler showed us more options, my eyes fell on a pair of simple, elegant bands. They featured small diamonds embedded in a delicate pattern that resembled ru

Or an identification for people to know that I'm his prisoner? I stared at the golden bracelet carefully as I turned my wrist around to get a better look. A shiny butterfly was hanging on it and it made it extra beautiful. I smiled as I looked at it. I may not know what it symbolises, but I choose to believe that it's just a beautiful gift I had received.

How would he then believe I had changed for the better? "Could you stop me over there?" I pointed to Terrace Jewelry and Co. once I sighted it. It is one of the best jewelry shops in the Crimson Stone Pack. They have gold, silver, diamonds—whatever gem you want, just name it; they've got it. When I got into the store, the sales personnel didn't bother to attend to me. The reason was obvious. This store is for the rich and influential members of the pack, but today I dressed so casually because I had to rush, so I was looking more like a hardworking, tired omega.

I stand where I am for a moment, before I quickly walk right behind her out of my office. I drive to a fancy jewelry store. It's a brand known in the city, and very exquisite. The interior is wonderfully designed in gold and cream paint colors. The different sets of jewelries, each one with a different gemstone, from jade, to topaz, to obsidian, and to diamonds and many more. A few people are in the store, staring at the jewelries, deciding on which one to pick. Even I don't get the difference here really. All I see are different rings, bracelets, necklaces and so on with studded stones. But Matilda walks towards the ring section. I smile and slowly walk right behind her.

I say in a low chuckle. “Yes, Kensington. I’m sorry,” she chuckles. “Should we leave down, or—” “Yes, indeed.” I rise to my feet, unboxing the tiny bottle of perfume that cost twenty times my salary, and I have to actively squeeze the price tag, hiding it from Cherry. Fleur d’Obsession Flower of obsession. My heart skips a beat. That’s not all; the dark green bottle has an engraving on it. Jas-MINE. Heat shoots up my spine.
