"I'll go check on that troublesome one." Rafael let out a scoff. "Why bother checking on her? Let her reflect on her own." Enzo had already headed toward the door. He still couldn't feel at ease. Valentina had just woken up, and she was still injured. The three of them walked down the corridor and pushed open the door to Valentina's hospital room.

The three burly men left immediately when Hakan dismissed the group, turning around to face Skye with her arms crossed and looking bored.

*Jaedon’s POV* “You’re saying war?” My best friend and Beta, Peter Normandy raised his eyebrows at me. Peter and I had met when we were children. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

She watches him as he walks to his unit. “He must really be having an upset stomach,” Auntie May said. Nate tries to rest his mind by sleeping. It’s been a month in the outside world and he’s starting to feel some stress and it’s unimaginable that this stress comes from seeing or not seeing Cela. Cela went back to her unit. Galieel and Amelia mirrored them and he stroked her hair as they gazed into the orange flames of the fire. Zar seemed to stare pensively into the fire as well, while Storm closed his eyes, seemingly asleep. Dilla and Connie spoke in hushed whispers a few paces away from the fire.
