After reading for some time he turned and frowned to see the cover page. "October breeze'. Is this the title." he asked in amusement. I nodded enthusiastically. "And may I know what this means." he questioned, cocking an eyebrow. I smiled and took his hand in mine. "Do you know what the speciality of October is?" I asked. "Of course. — no doubt one of the neighbors is hoping to get some yard work done. It was a Saturday right in the middle of September — the welcome transition between summer and fall when the weather was neither hot nor cold, just pleasant. The eighteenth of September; a few days away from the twenty-first, the technical first day of autumn, yet the sun shined outside as if it couldn't care less. The eighteenth of September. My birthday.

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.

“Okay… um when were you born? As in your birthday?” “My birthday is 18th April.” Terrence shrugged. “Oh, mine is June 26th.” Chance nodded as sweat started to form over his head. He grabbed Chance’s face by using both of his hands, pulled Chance towards him and kissed him.

That it would be the actual beginning of the Dry season. But nope. It drizzles and drizzles and drizzles...and drizzles. And when it isn't drizzling, the heavens are trying fall down in a tsunami. I won't say it's not possible, with all of how damaged this year has been.
