It made me sad that I didn't dream about the guy anymore tho, but it was better this way, the dreams were always filled with so much sadness anyway.
I heard the click of the door and I turned away from the window, drawing down the blinds as Kehlani stepped into the room. She was holding a lot of shopping bags and she had a smile on her face that could melt wax, but I didn't know why, I always felt that her smile was forced and that she didn't even like me at all. It didn't matter, I didn't like her either, but I'd come to treasure the only human contact I got.
