"Well, about that, huh? You'll get to know about me after spending our time together. So what else do you know about dragons?" "Hm, let me think about it," she chewed her lollipop again, closing her eyes. “In Europe, they have wings and can breathe fire, but their existence is always being hunted down and made trophies by humans. Likewise in Persia and Egypt. Then in Tanakh, in the book of Leviticus, they mentioned a dragon named Leviticus that was finally killed by God at the creation of the earth." "Well, almost all you knew was right," Karl nodded slowly. "And what else?"

We all chuckled. Drace cleared her throat. "Alright, kidlets, let's begin our first lesson. Dragons are big. We weigh a lot. But our bones are hollow, ridiculously strong, and exceptionally long. Most of the weight of a dragon comes from the scales, the larger internal organs, the wings, and the tail."

I hope, like the last three times he went out, that he comes home without an egg. There are six colors of dragons – the rarest are the golden queens. They are the most powerful of all dragons. Their mates are primarily the formidable silver dragons, known for their speed, agility, and power. But there are also bronze dragons, always males, who, in rare instances, are strong enough to mate with a queen. Then there are green dragons who are also male and red and blue dragons, which are always females, and usually mate with green or bronze dragons. I hate the practice of hunting dragon eggs. Dragon riders are rare, exceptionally rare. However, those who become dr

The dragon blinked a final time and averted its eyes somewhere else as if it had heard her whisper and honored her plea. That was weird. Although the dragon had looked elsewhere, Evrah couldn't help but stare at it. She watched the destruction and chaos it brought to life. The obliteration it seemed to revel in. All of them seemed to be enjoying their devastating results. She had watched them chase folks down, spitting the elements and flame in the direction of her fellows. She had watched as they set everything ablaze, their massive wings fanning the flames as they burned the brightness and vibrancy of existence into nothingness.

"Tell me everything your parents told you about my family." I sighed, a shameful blush coating my ears. I could still feel the burn behind my ear. It felt raw, especially as blood rushed in a telltale flush. "They told me a lot of things. And, I'm going to preface this by saying I thought the dragon thing was a metaphor. I didn't know it was a literal thing." Thane laughed suddenly. "So sirens, sorceresses, chimeras, all valid and real, but you draw the line at water dragons?"

Yuri smiled guiltily. "How will you bring this statue-like witch back to life?" Drake inquired. Yuri laughed; I saw Elena muffling her giggle. "Are you not the Dragon King? Are you unable to employ magic?" Yuri inquired. "I am a dragon, not a warlock or a mage," Drake growled. "What a squandered Dragon King you are. Our Alpha can also wield magic," Yuri laughed. "You want to see the power, you grungy wolf. I'll show you. I can roast you with fire breath like a pig," Drake snarled.

Complicated creatures, dragons, I think to myself. As I reminisce, we had made our way down to the dragon den and came up to Ying. The majestic animal has only grown again since last I saw him, his sheer size a site to behold! His majesty left everybody who ever saw him in awe. Kal himself made Ying, a very long time ago, in fact at the dawn of time. Second in size only to Kal, Ying’s glistening scales looked almost like gold, but with this green, almost emerald hue to him. His deep green eyes studied me carefully and I fought with all I had to keep him out of my thoughts. Dragons and dragon magic are highly dangerous, even to the creatures like me. One of their traits was mind control, and

Maybe that was why he was no longer with his tribe. The gigantic dragon’s head leaned forward, its snake-like neck curving majestically so one side of its eye could meet mine. Creed’s natural dark eyes with a hint of amber flickered back and forth from his dark fired ones. Only one word could describe this dragon, the same as Creed. Beautiful.

I contemplated for a moment, only interrupted by Raja's voice. 'That is a dragon's growl, my lady.' "A dragon?" I voices out absentmindedly when I was just supposed to talk with Raja in my mind. "A dragon?" Prince Evan and Prince David echoed my question, they were looking at me now. "Yes. That must be the dragon of the magical healer," Demitri answered. "The question is, what kind of dragon is it, so we would know what attack should we expect." 'He's not my kind. He's a blue dragon. The kind who has the ability to manipulate heavenly elements such as lightning,' Raja informed.

The owner looked at me with confusion and remarks, "Great, another one who's gone crazy. Must be the 'Stuart's' genes." "What do you mean by that?" I glared at him "Oh right. This one's defective. The Stuarts are known for their folklore about dragons and all that. Your father even took it up to a notch waging a war with his imaginary dragons just because he won't let his daughter be the bride." "Watch what you say about my dad." "Geez, even the temper is there." He mocks I ignored him as I carried the books all the way back home. I read as much as I could about dragons. It's been said in these books that dragons are known for their bat-like enormous wings and serpentile creatures. They are
