It was the wake held for the officer. Nadia now knew his name to be Sub-inspector Ryan Black. A lot of officers and other people were present to honor Ryan for his services in the police force. The atmosphere was melancholy and tense. Or maybe only Nadia felt that way because she knew what had happened to Ryan. His severed head was just laying next to her on her bed.
