Omega Definition Wolf Novels & Stories

From that day onwards, those overcome by the beast were called werewolves as they were both man and wolf. The Prince was the most powerful among the clan and was called "Alpha", his second in command was the "Beta". The weak and the less strong-willed were the "Omega". The omegas were preyed upon because they were easily controlled and were not strong as they were not fully possessed by the beast. The most significant wolf after the Alpha and Beta were the "Epsilon". The Epsilons were the peacemakers, healers who could calm a wolf in rage. Epsilons are rare and most times are mistaken for an Omega.

"A what?" He laughed. "An Omega man. He doesn't care about being seen by his peers as the toughest, smartest, most popular." "Like the typical alpha," she commented. "Exactly. Omega men have a resourcefulness and cunning to get the job done with their own skill. They are all things alpha and more." He swallowed some coffee. "When I left for the Marines, my father gave me a tiny pin to wear, the Greek Omega symbol. He told me to carry it into battle and use it as a guiding force in my life. It gave me strength without wearing my ego on my sleeve."

Being an Omega grants you protection from other wolves, and you will be provided with food and shelter in exchange for your loyalty. (Omegas are typically the lowest-ranking members of a pack and are not allowed to challenge the Alpha for dominance or to form their own pack. This is because the Alpha needs to maintain a certain level of control to ensure the pack’s survival and protection. Thus, the Alpha fears that allowing an Omega to challenge them would compromise their control and leadership.) “I appreciate your kindness, Alpha. Since you are willing to keep my life as an omega, I accept your kind gesture, Alpha,” I murmur with a bow. “I am grateful for your mercy.”

I wasn't going to keep on talking to her if she wasn't going to tell me her name. "What's your name?" "I'm Nessa, I'm an Omega." I frowned, I certainly didn't know what Omega meant but it did mean something powerful back when I used to live with my mom. "Umm, I don't know what that means but it does mean something powerful right?" She shook her head. "No, an omega wolf can be either male or female and is the scapegoat, the lowest ranking member of the pack."

Olivia had respect for Adrian and Milan more than she had for Jeremy who is the Alpha. "Do you have a wolf?" He asked. Olivia wondered why he would ask that all of a sudden. Everyone knows that an omega can't have a wolf. She knew he wouldn't ask her such a question without a good reason. She kept the fact that she has a wolf to herself. "I'm an omega Beta, what do you expect? '' she said with a plain look. Looking at her, Milan thought she was sad about the question. " I'm sorry" he quickly apologised.

JOSH POV Now, I have my first question. “Omegas?” I ask. Maddie smiles at me again. She begins to climb the stairs as she answers me, “Omega is a ranking within wolf shifter packs. It is the lowest rank of wolves. Most packs have an abundance of lower ranking wolves, omegas being the most prolific. They tend to be the worker bees. Landscapers, housekeepers, child care givers, teachers, nurses, and doctors; professions like that who are all about care and repetition, emotional empathy, encouragement and care. They have huge hearts, and it is in theirs’s and their wolves’ natures to be attentive and nurturing to the other pack members.

At twenty-five years old, I shouldn’t be afraid of getting jumped by a bunch of teenagers, but it happened with more regularity than I cared to admit. The other adults, at least, didn’t use physical violence against me. I swallowed hard as I turned again, searching the doorways and alleys closest to me. Still nothing. I sped up, tightening my grip on the cross-shoulder strap of my duffle bag. I only had three more blocks to go before I reached the barracks where I lived with the other Omegas. The others in the packs never went into the barracks, not unless they were looking for someone to fuck. And the best thing about being the most undesirable wolf in town meant nobody wanted to fuck me.

before Gamma Patrick whispered in my ears, “Omegas are killed like chickens. Misbehave and you’ll be the next barbeque.” My heart was bitter. So many threats. Why did the moon goddess make omegas? Why can’t everyone be equal in the werewolf community? I asked myself as I looked up to the sunny skies like I could see the face of the moon goddess even in the blinding ray of the sun.

What happened next was shocking. He dragged me back to the house by my arm and what I saw when I got inside was horrifying my parents lay dead and the house was trashed, but what scared me more was there was no scent of a rogue being in the house.
