I’m currently sitting in my dad’s office hugging my dad. “Thank you, my sweetheart. I really needed that,” he sighs. You see, I am an Omega. Not the lowest of the pack that you normally hear about, but the kind who has a very special ability. I can calm people with just my presence, but it’s more effective if I am in close proximity to them. When I was brought to my parents, my omega waves were crazy strong. They still are, but back then, they started a war.

“Do not speak of it. The humiliation was enough.” Darius knelt on the bed, one knee sinking into the mattress beside Kai’s hip. The shift in weight made the bed dip, rolling Kai slightly toward him. “There is no shame in being an omega. Especially not my omega.” His fingers traced the collar of Kai’s tunic, pulling it aside to expose the slender neck and collarbone. “Let me give you relief.”

Aaron whispered, his voice barely audible. Kael's blood ran cold. He tried to convince himself that he had misheard, that his anxiety was playing tricks on him. "I… I don't understand, Your Highness." Aaron's gaze intensified, his eyes filled with a strange mixture of awe and understanding. "You are an Omega. A male Omega." Kael's world tilted on its axis. He tried to deny it, to protest, but the words caught in his throat. He stared at Aaron, his heart pounding like a drum against his ribs.

Somehow I felt like I would have preferred if my tongue was in her mouth. ‘Hell what I'm I thinking?’ I shoke off the thought immediately. “What happens now?” I asked, not bothering to look towards Oscala. “We leave her to rest. Hopefully she wakes up soon. The we can determine whether it worked or not.” He pulled away from Taylor and showed me the door. I followed him out into his living room. He made tea and served me. Then he found a set opposite mine. “Taylor is an Omega but her parents are betas. Now that I think about it, that is odd.”

I have finally found my mate, if Duke’s repeat of the word mate in my head, is anything to go on. I get ready to move to her when suddenly I realize exactly who she is. It’s Beta Dimitri’s daughter, who’s name I cannot remember. I’m not sure I ever really knew it, as she is an Omega. I watch as her eyes widen when she realizes who I am. My eyes harden with the realization that she is indeed an Omega. There is no way I can accept an Omega as a mate. Omegas are the weakest of our kind. They are not meant to be Luna’s. They are never trained for it, and do not have the knowledge or experience for such things. I cannot believe the Moon Goddess would make this kind of mistake.

She claps twice and everyone moved to do just as she said. They didn’t expect me to do all of this work today, what the hell do these omegas think I am? I mean props for this Gold gal that I am but if it was my own body I would be having a fit right about now. “Why do you still call yourself an omega? I mean, I know you were one, but I thought you’d have held yourself in high esteem after Sia made you his concubine but you don’t and I want to know why” I laugh subtly. “Becoming his concubine doesn’t elevate my status in anyway. I still see myself as an omega, because my duties and obligations are still that of an omega. When Sia was injured, I treated his wounds. That’s what an omega does Dogara. They humble themselves before all, serving in silence. "She has made an Omega the key." My lips slightly parted as my muscles trembled with the tension caused by the Alpha's words regarding me. While others might consider it lucky, it feels like me and Nala facing a serious task. "But why?" Beta faced the Alpha, wondering as he asked, "She's just the daughter of an Omega from a rogue pack?"
