“We haven’t been properly introduced. I am Bryant. Alpha of the Forestland Pack.” I smiled as Alpha Bryant introduced himself. Though he didn’t need to add that he was an Alpha. Everyone within a five mile radius would know he was a pack Alpha. Not just from his size, but from his aura. I was a Beta, the set without any special abilities or special features. Alphas had their knot and their dominance, Omegas had their perfume and their heat cycles. I had gotten used to not being given special treatment because Helena was an omega, and omegas were usually cherished in packs. But Alpha Bryant didn’t seem to mind that I was just a Beta. He seemed genuinely interested in me, and for that reason,

He chuckled, looking me up and down. "What do you want to receive, Omega? A punch? Or a kick?" I didn't answer, I simply bowed. My action made it difficult for the warriors to harm me. To them, I was like a flimsy piece of paper that would fly away with a single blow. Nala remained hidden within the depths of my mind, unwilling to assist me.

Derek felt his wolf reacting to the alpha's command, straining against his own consciousness to take over. Not now! Not now! Not now! However, chanting the word in his head didn't make it happen. A part of Derek wanted to obey the alpha, the other part fought to disobey. A struggle ensued, one that tore Derek apart, like his soul was a battleground for two wild beasts. The resulting pain made every muscle in his body stiffen and vibrate at an unhealthy speed. He felt the human side of him losing, felt his will slipping.

She questioned, looking troubled. The rage in her eyes was a clear sign of her deep hate for werewolves. Since the spirit dwelling in me no longer felt like putting her down like her armies, I calmly said, “It’s no sorcery. I am an Omega.” “Don’t lie to me!” She raised her voice, flashing her eyes at me. “You are using something to make yourself unstoppable! No ordinary wolf can beat a whole army of my strong Vampires. It’s an impossible thing to do, unless you’re using dark magic!” She accused, refusing to belief me.

Another figure emerged—a woman, sharp-eyed, lean, radiating a quiet kind of dominance. "You’re not rogue," she mused, tilting her head. "But you’re not pack either." Selene exhaled, measuring their stance, their posture, the way they watched her with both wariness and curiosity. These weren’t ordinary wolves. And she wasn’t an ordinary Omega anymore. "I’m looking for strength," Selene murmured, her voice unwavering. The man smirked, crossing his arms. "Strength can be earned." Selene tilted her head. "Then tell me what I need to do."

He grabbed my chin and I winced. “I was taken there. I passed out in front of the university and I woke up in that warehouse.” I mumbled as his grip on my chin loosened. “So, you aren’t one of them.” He smirked and that sent shivers down my spine. He is handsome and by the looks of it he’s rich. Also he is an alpha and I’m an omega. He is the predator and I look like his prey. “No, I wasn’t.” I said as I tried to figure out a way to escape from here.

She clutched at him, still crying, still shaking. Damien snarled and shifted in a violent burst of black fur and fury. The massive wolf lunged straight for me but Rowan met him in mid-air. They crashed together with bone-shaking force. Cassian shifted too, smoke pouring from his skin as he became something half-man half-monster, his claws gleaming ice-blue. The war ignited again, fiercer, and uglier this time. I stood there chest heaving, power still surging through me like wildfire in my veins. Every element pressed against my skin begging to be let loose. I reached for them the way Aunt Mara had tried to teach me before everything went to hell.

I guessed they were there to discuss what they did regarding Lisa and me. I knocked on the door. Then Upsilon Michael Wolfie, the spies of our pack, opened the door. Once he saw me, he bowed. “You came on time, Beta Cameron.” “What are they discussing?” “About you, Delta Lisa,” he shrugged and added, “and the Omega.” “The Omega has a name. Her name is Anna Warren.” “Yes, Omega Anna.” I ignored Michael and stepped inside. The noisy discussion died suddenly when they saw me. “Well, who’s here? Just on time. We’re discussing what we should do with the incident.”

I lock my love for him deep down in my soul, so that once I was in the afterlife, I had something to cling too. A chill ran through me that wasn’t caused by the winter winds, but by Owen and his army of Alphas, Betas and Warriors. Like a beautiful sea of everything that was good in this world, he made my heart flutter. His blonde long blonde hair blew in the wind and his face remained stoic as he ran towards us. Like a Viking God of War, the great Alpha Mars, the king of war, was ready for battle, but where they ready for a magically beefed-up rogue army that were blood thirsty? I wasn’t sure. A Part of me wants to tell Owen to run like Forrest Gump, but I remain silent.
