The two were from the noble families of the kingdom of Borney, therefore in contention to mate the princess. Their families led the search for the missing princess. They instigated the love wars of the islands, and with suspicion they watched their backs to see who could betray the other between themselves. The other nobles had given up on her. Apparently, they accused her of letting down the traditions of the land when she needed to uphold them. They felt insulted for falling for the mysterious stranger instead of them. Princess Zuba was now in the strong arms of a werewolf stranger. “Hold on; come here”, said Jason, holding her tight. He bit her side neck with his fangs and hugged her a co

“That’s a lot of questions, I know. Do you know anything about zombies?” Dr. Clerval took a last puff from his pipe and placed it carefully back into the ashtray. “Reanimated corpses have been a theme of old folk tales for centuries,” he said, lapsing into his teaching voice. “They are especially connected to the voodoo practiced in places like the Caribbean and Africa. It’s usually a witch doctor or sorcerer who brings the person back to life with a spell. In the last hundred years, zombies have become increasingly common in literature, and a bit later, in film. In these modern stories, it’s usually some kind of plague or radiation that turns hordes of corpses into flesh-eating monsters.”

Their eyes were empty, unfocused, and they were both wearing a strange, hollow smile. The rescue team leader stepped forward. "Mr. Sands? Mrs. Sands?" Dad suddenly clutched the tin of spam against his chest and shrank backward, his eyes wide. "Shh. Be quiet," he whispered, his voice shaking. "There are zombies out there. Going outside means death. "This is the last of our food. We have to ration it. We have to make it last." Mom nodded along beside him, completely serious. "One less mouth to feed. You'll get to live a few more days."

She wondered with a brief but sharp stab of pain who Samantha would have looked like, before pushing the thought away. “Alright. There’s something else…” She gripped Lauren’s hands. “The scary people who ate that guy’s face last night… They’re the ones spreading this disease. Somehow it got into the water, or something, but they’re also wandering the town, biting people, and people who get bit, turn into them… Zombies, Rhett is calling them. Do not leave the house or let anyone in unless you’re sure they’re… Well, just be really careful, please. But don’t hurt them… they’re victims too. Long story.”

“Megan’s story about the woman wanting to build an army to overthrow the government is just that, a story. Oh, the old woman was working on building an army alright - as are others - but it isn’t to over throw the government. In the darkness of the shadows of life, a war has been raging for centuries. It is between the zombie leaders and the vampires.” When I gasped, he raised his hand to stop me. “Don’t get hung up on the vampire image you find in movies and books. It took several hours before the ability-holders finally eliminated the two zombies, with 23 people as casualties. She heard cries of agony throughout the night, yet no one dared to comfort them. In this world where having to live a day is a blessing, there’s no use of drowning yourself in agony. You must be strong, because maybe tomorrow—you’re the next one to perish.
