"An Omega," he breathed, the words a low, velvet rumble that vibrated through my very bones. "All this time. The fire, the defiance... I should have known. No Beta fights like you." I couldn't speak. My throat was locked tight. I was pinned beneath him, the heavy medicine ball a dead weight on my chest, his body a cage of muscle and heat.
