The buds that were closed moments ago now show faint streaks of pink, trembling as if shy. My heart swells. “Maybe they can feel happiness.” “Or maybe,” the omega says, his tone almost reverent, “they know the Goddess’s touch when it returns to the world.”

Henry*** Dean’s voice sliced through the night, dripping with scorn. "The omega wants to play Alpha," he drawled, his smirk sharp enough to cut. The crowd of wolves parted around us, forming a wide circle. Their movements were almost synchronized, as if compelled by an unspoken force. Shadows flickered under the dim moonlight, their eyes glowing with a mixture of curiosity and dread. Whispers rippled through the ranks, barely audible over the low growls of those in wolf form. The tension was palpable, an electric charge in the air that seemed to grow with every breath.

She gave Black a cheesy smile as she pretended to smooth the fabric of the Alpha's long-sleeved top. _Rooooh... I don't like it when Mate smiles like that!" said Mr. Wolf, his ears back and his tail between his legs. "The simple omega is called Ocean. He's been serving us since last night. Besides, I'm polite to him because he's doing his job properly while you, obviously, don't do anything to make his life easier... Mate." She had found it necessary to end her sentence with the magic word that seemed to have its effect instantly. Black seemed to have calmed down.

Mew said with confidence "He is my new found mate." Richard another alpha got surprised and asked "What is this new story Alpha??" Mew's wolf growled in anger and voiced in his alpha voice "Are you guys telling that I am lying??" Kint other alpha from Eastern territory said in fear "No. Alpha we believe you but he is male and.." Mew cut his sentence and continued "He is an omega and my mate. we don't know how but this is the truth."

When the strike came, she dodged it, and cornered him. Then, suddenly, her claws flared. It wasn't the usual claw, not the type to be hidden. It came out blazing molten silver, big enough for the smallest pup to see from the upper level. The warrior staggered back, shock evident on his face. Then, the little Omega rose, her shoulders rising with her, eyes glowing violet. The crowd erupted in shock. Some were amazed, while others wallowed in unbelief. “Impossible! That's not happening!” Cael hissed in shock also.

Elder Zac continued, “he will no longer hold the title of Alpha. He will return to the rank of a normal pack member. An omega, if necessary.” My eyes widened. An omega? That’s the lowest rank in a pack. Omegas were not too respected and they were far from being leaders. They were treated more like helpers, sometimes even ignored. That’s crazy, I thought to myself. Was that even allowed? Could a whole Alpha be reduced to an omega? That seemed too harsh. I had only ever heard rumors of something like this happening, of alphas being stripped of their rank but I had never actually seen it happen. I never thought it could happen to someone like Kaden.

The wolves were shifting around me, but I refused to look at them. Alpha Xavier was among them. I could smell him. I could feel his alpha aura raging and flickering angrily around me like a soldering fire. His anger was good though. He's kill me for sure, and by doing so the pup within me. It wouldn't be my fault. After all, I'm just a weak little omega against a fucking alpha. I shouldn't have even been able to get this far. "What the hell are you doing?"

Tala crushed the phone in her grip then threw it down "I'm going now, if I see your face anywhere but here or in town, I will kill you" "Understood" With a last glare at her Tala walked round her and left the house. Odine fell back in the couch with a gasp of relief, so this is what is meant by never challenge a werewolf, just like a child will eventually grow up, an Omega will eventually become an Alpha, they might not pose a threat in the beginning, but there is a truth behind the term dogs don't forget and Odine experienced that first hand.

Seeing the healing bruises all over her face, and arms ignites that anger even more. That stupid pup just made a mockery out of our family. We are the Beta family, and we are expected to set an example to the rest of the pack on how to behave, and how to treat others. He showed everyone in this pack that it is ok to treat others, lower rank wolves, especially like trash. That it is ok to beat them, and disrespect them. The Omegas are the backbone, and care takers of every pack, and deserve to be respected, not beaten.
