Dominic closed his eyes for three long seconds. His chest rose and fell in a deep, ragged breath as he forced himself to yield.
When he opened his eyes, the raw fury had settled into a cold, tactical focus.
"You do not walk in there blind," Dominic said.
He turned and walked toward the study, returning ten seconds later with a small black leather case. He unzipped it, pulling out a thin, silver disc no larger than a coin.
"A micro-transmitter," Dominic said. He reached out and pinned the tiny disc to the inside collar of my jacket, hiding it beneath the dark fabric. "It feeds live audio directly to my phone and Marcus's tactical unit."
