On Deaths Bed Witcher 3 Novels & Stories

I was not allowed to make sudden movements. “Don’t worry, Luna Alessandra. They tried to chop off my foot. But I kept fighting them with my little pack army.” I nodded giving him a shaky laugh. There was a truck where guards were settling she-wolves and children. Horror could be seen on their faces. Covered dead bodies were being shifted to the temporary morgue and it wounded my heart to even imagine that one of them might be Beta Russel. The last night’s occurrence started playing in my mind like a movie. When King Noah told me that Beta Russel had died I tried to point out towards my bed where I made him sit just a few moments back. But… Beta Russel was nowhere.

All the elders were seated discussing only heaven knows what. “Why?” I was concerned. “Alex is dead.” My eyes widened at her statement. Alex was one of the Betas of our pack. How did that happen? “How did he die?” I was close to tears, he had always been so nice to me. “He was found lying dead in his room this morning after you left to see Thorsten. We called on Holgar the priest and he told us that this is a warning and many more terrible things are going to happen.” I became so nervous, I gulped hard and kept my eyes fixed on her. I gave her a nod and she continued.

“Very good girl.” ALEXANDER’s POV The crash of a door jolts me awake. Hudson storms in, out of breath, eyes sharp. “What?” I snap, sitting up. “She’s dead.” My brows knit. “Who?” “The witch. She bit her tongue, bled out, and now she’s gone.” For a moment, I’m silent. Then rage builds in my chest, nearly knocking the breath from my lungs. I snatch the vase off my bedside table and smash it against the wall.

“How are you alive, Zach? I watched you die and.. “I didn’t die” he says, “a witch took care of my wolf for three years and I was able to be resuscitated” “And your funeral?” “It was all planned baby” he replies, “and I couldn’t tell you, I wanted to be sure I would live and I..

"My Alpha made me swear that I'll keep you safe and not even a hair on your head should be touched. So if you know what's best for you, keep your ass on that bed and be safe!" We were still talking when I felt a cold chill run down my spine. I turned to Oscar and he had gone still. He's fucking dead. Not by a stake, not by anything that could kill a vampire but the blood of my fated. "He's gone," I whisper. None of them flinches. Declan angles his right shoulder in a lazy shrug. "Good for him. Are the clean-up team close?" He asks Xavier as if Oscar Warsunng's death shouldn't be a thing of bother.

"But I remember the feeling of your hand in mine. And I would rather die in this life than live in one where I don't know your name." "Then you will die together!" Silas roared. He waved his hand, and the stained-glass windows of the Great Hall shattered. From the darkness outside, a thousand black-winged Reapers poured in, their mechanical stingers humming with the frequency of death. "Back to back?" I asked, stepping up to Julian’s side, my Scythe humming in sync with his sword. Julian looked at me, a wolfish, familiar smile touching his lips. The silver marks on his face were fully active now, glowing with a brilliance that blinded the front row of nobles.

A warning painted in grief. She moved before thought could take hold. Her boots slipped once on the stone, slick with something warm. The silence inside wasn’t empty. It was holding its breath. When her eyes adjusted to the dark, she saw them—healers, three of them, crumpled near the far wall. Their throats slit. Their robes scorched. The magic still etched around them had failed to protect them. They had died trying. And at the center of the room, beside the bed—

Death tells him "Who's that?" He asks "Can I go?" I ask tiredly "It's me, and yeah, your little friend is in your room," Death says "My little friend," "The werewolf," he says At his words, I take off running past him and quickly up the stairs in record time before bursting into my room where she was sitting on my bed covering her ears. "What is with the screaming?" She asks "Sorry," I say before sticking my head out of the door, "Death can we go in your room?!" I ask him

Delilah's POV She paused to let that land before continuing. "A border skirmish with a rogue faction on their eastern line has been sending injured wolves in faster than Margaret and her staff can treat them. Three wolves have died from infections that should have been treatable if they'd had the manpower." My hands went still on my pack straps. Three wolves dead from infections, the exact thing I could pull out with my bare hands.
