Trapped In His Love Obsession

Trapped In His Love Obsession

The honeymoon issue still weighed on Brown's mind-that's what had brought him here now. He parked his car outside a large downtown bookstore and stepped inside. Since it wasn't the weekend, the place wasn't too crowded. Or maybe people just didn't read as much anymore-who knew? These days, online bookshops offered massive discounts, and that kind of competition might be one reason this store felt so quiet. Brown walked over to the store's database computer and typed in "honeymoon" once more. Within moments, a list of titles popped up. "Aisle twelve," he muttered, scanning the list.

The Billionaire’s Discarded Bride

The Billionaire’s Discarded Bride

"Having someone threaten your mother to get to you." "No," Caleb agreed. "It isn't." I looked back at the bookstore, they almost closed in 2021 before a group of regulars bought it out. Inside, it smelled exactly the same — paper and wood polish and something faintly floral from wherever they kept the candles. The owner, a man in his seventies with reading glasses pushed up on his forehead, looked up from behind the counter and nodded at us.

Whispers Beneath The Rain

Whispers Beneath The Rain

Alex pumped his fist triumphantly. “Yes!” Edith laughed softly. “Well done.” **** The next hour passed in a flurry of activity. Clara rushed home to pack a small suitcase. Evan checked the car. Alex prepared the bookstore for the day. When Clara returned, she found Alex standing behind the counter like a proud shopkeeper. He waved cheerfully. “Welcome to Alex’s Book Emporium.” Clara shook her head. “Please don’t rename my store.” “No promises.” She stepped closer and hugged him tightly.

Rosie's Obsession

Rosie's Obsession

His eyes met mine, wide in surprise. “You are?” I nodded. “Well, I do hope you're up for two more stops before we call it a day.” Christ. Hopefully it'll be worth it. I grinned against the pulsing ache in my temple. “Of course.” After another drive, we were standing outside a bookstore, not just any bookstore. I blinked sharply, my lips parting in shock. “Oh my God…” I breathed out, my eyes turning glassy.

Fated To My Twin Brother

Fated To My Twin Brother

She didn't know if she'd ever get back. As they began the walk back home, Sonia made a final detour, steering Hannah down a deserted street flanked by tiny shops. One store in particular caught her eye—an old-fashioned, dusty little bookstore, its shelves as history-steeped as their own, warm light spilling through the windows. "Do you want to have a look?" Sonia asked, noticing the way Hannah lingered on the bookstore.

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACTED BETRAYAL

A BILLIONAIRE'S CONTRACTED BETRAYAL

We found 'Whispers of Time,' a quaint bookstore tucked away in a corner, its shelves filled with weathered tomes and ancient manuscripts. I approached the counter, my heart pounding with anticipation. An elderly woman with kind eyes and a gentle smile greeted us. "Welcome, dear travelers. How may I assist you today?" I showed her the letter and mentioned Evelyn's name. Her eyes widened, a flicker of recognition crossing her face. "Ah, Evelyn... a wise and enigmatic soul. Follow me."

ONCE REJECTED, TWICE DESIRED

ONCE REJECTED, TWICE DESIRED

It wasn’t anything novel – he had quite the reputation as a pack-wide fuckboy, dragging a different girl to his den every damn day. As I walked the corridor with Sabrina's burnt dress still hanging on my shoulders, I squeezed my way into the stuffy storeroom of the packhouse. Inside, a fellow maid was tidying up, the sunlight streaming through the window casting a bright glow in the room. I scanned the room and spotted a bundle of condoms. Reaching in, I yanked one from the bunch. In my haste, something fell from my body, but I couldn't be bothered to give it a second glance.

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

The soft groan of wood rang out in the quiet bookstore as Lena turned over the last sign on the door: **CLOSED**. Outside, the city drew a breath, illuminated by amber streetlights and the quiet rumble of passing cars. Within, the world held its breath. Warm. Intimate. Holy.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

There is no mate bond, but having him close makes me feel more secure. “I can’t wait for you to see this.” He rubs his thumb on the top of my hand as he leads me to a store. It’s rare Bronx gets so excited about surprising me. We approach a bookstore with a dusty, old window display. In gold paint, there is a picture of a pan flute and a goat. The images are peeling and sundried as if they’ve been there forever. Over the pictures are the words ‘The Barded Goat Used & Collectible Books’.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!
