AVA’s POV The night of Hunter’s challenge finally came. Me, Jared, Brock, and Syria all came along to be by his side. As we all entered the arena, everyone was screaming and cheering for Hunter’s name. It was fifty-fifty actually. But most are women, making my wolf growl lowly knowing how many women wanted our mate. I mean look at him. His toned muscles are visible as he is wearing nothing but boxers and shorts. Compared to his father who was wearing a massive armor in his body, Hunter is indeed a god.

He stated plainly and I nodded, not wanting to speak to him. “You will work with my team of architects and ensure that this project is a succ-” I chuckled, interrupting him. “Something funny, architetta?” He cocked a brow, unimpressed. Architetta. There he goes again, the way he says it is almost sinful drenched with that Italian accent. The first time he used that word, we were confined to the four walls of his office, but now that we're in a much bigger space, it doesn't lessen its impact.

“And all of you I suspect are familiar with the Archer Legacy. The legendary Archer bloodline that was chosen has to slay the vampiress--” “But through the daughters of the Archer bloodline.” Calyx gulped when she realized who spoke. It was Theodavian. She looked at him and nodded her head. He nodded and continued: “Yes, we’re familiar with the Archer Legacy. It’s also now been prophesized that the Slayer is a part of the Chosen Ones’ prophecy made by the great Shayla Seer.” “I-I am aware of that,” she stammered. She flushed at her stammering and bit her bottom lip as she looked at her old friends.

Archer For years archer's way of dealing with pain and sadness was to ignore everything around him and pretend nothing and everyone did not exist. but it seems he could barely hold back anymore. While the first step towards getting his life back backfired, he knew he lost even before the challenge started he suddenly felt like a failure because he was in denial about his feelings towards her. Shortly after she left the bathroom back there at the diner, he waited a few minutes to arrive at his table

It wasn’t Xander but the other one, Archer. She had guessed right about the arrow. Archer had a silver bow in his hand. It was magnificent. There was a carving on it and at both tips a jewel. She saw his muscles flex as he raised the bow, leading her to believe it was heavy. Her eyes were stuck on the muscles between his shoulder blades as his arm pulled back and released, sending a white arrow into a ball that had been catapulted into the air. ***

Archer, being the son of the present Beta male held the position of the future Beta of their pack, had short, spiky sandy brown hair, green hazel eyes, a built body, dressed in a white shirt that hugged his body, showing off his belly abs, black jean jacket with a pair of black boots. Archer was also mated but to a male and the two loved each other dearly, not Minding the fact that they were the same sex. Karenina, the mother of their little group had short red hair that fell to her shoulders, greyish orbs, wearing a red top, black jeans, and red shoes, Karenina had also found her mate while their other friends, Jenny and Chris died a year ago from longing.

He watched as some of them clumsily drew, others had their stance too rigid, and some were too relaxed. He watched as the horn blew twice, and the arrows began to fly. The first row of targets were soon filled with arrows embedding themselves in the hay. Watching carefully, he saw two arrows out of all of them, had hit the dead center. He saw the red and orange ribbons, and quickly located the archer who fired them. Each archer had a color. Their arrows had a ribbon matching their color. It made it much easier to track who fired than watching each individual archer. As his eyes landed on the two, he was not surprised to see it was Jesu's two sons.
