I shoved one aside, shouting, “Stay down!” as another bullet whizzed past.

I said before I pressed my eyes shut and finally, pressed that damn trigger. But at that same moment, I felt a hand press harshly against my arm pushing me away. My eyes widened when I saw the bullet miss him by a millimeter and go through the wall just behind him. Bewildered, I turned to the intruder and snapped, "What the hell is the matter with you?!"

Yet, that bullet seemed to have gone on a separate parallel space from Tyr. The bullet initially meant for Tyr’s head had burst into the wall across them, leaving a hole in its wake. It was not a parallel space, but as the bullet aimed for Tyr’s head, he suddenly turned, and after the shot, he moved his head back. And just like that, he had avoided the shot at a speed unnoticeable by a naked eye.

Abel said. "Agent Jenny. There is no way we can remove the second bullet. He has to be taken to the hospital. The bullet is just few inches from his heart." One of the two nurses spoke up. It took me a moment to react, but even before I could think, a bullet was sent flying above my head. “Oh my God.” I shrieked, rising up with great difficulty. Axel wrapped his arms around Anita, his eyes filled with deep grief. “Yvonne, leave with them.” He kissed Anita and pushed her away. “Now. You know where to go!”

"No!" He threw himself toward her. At that exact moment, the old man fired. The bullet flew across the tunnel. Nick reached Claire just in time and pushed her aside. The gunshot echoed loudly. Ariana screamed. "Nick!" He stumbled backward. For one terrifying second, no one knew if the bullet had hit him. Nick looked down. There was no blood. Instead, the bullet had struck the metal wall behind him. It had missed by only inches. The old man calmly aimed again. "This time, I won't miss."

I stood and pulled out the gun, which was at my waist, and loaded it in front of Vivian. "Lay a finger on you? That's a waste of my time!" I suddenly raised my hand. This caused her to scream and squat down with her hands on her head. What she thought was the end wasn't. My gun wasn't aimed at her; it was aimed at the wine cabinet behind her. The next second, there was a loud bang. The sound of glasses shattering echoed in the room. The flying shards had even cut Vivian's waist, leaving a deep blood trail.

Bodies were laying on the ground and the Moltons’ were gaining in on the point of the circle. A bullet suddenly whizzed by my head. It was so close that I had been within an inch of death. I couldn’t even tell who had been the one to almost shoot me dead. I tightened the grip on my gun and walked toward where all the action was.
