Dark Obsession

Dark Obsession

Telling her would only put her in danger. “I’m okay,” I lie. “Just stressed about finals and everything else.” Elara squeezes my arm. “We’re here. All of us. Don’t forget that.” She leaves a few minutes later, and I try to focus again. But my phone vibrates on the desk. Encrypted message. Silvano: Window. Ten minutes. My pulse spikes with a mix of anger and anticipation. I wait twelve minutes just to spite him, then crack the window open. He slips inside like smoke, dressed in black, movements silent and controlled.

The Ex-Fiancé’s Ruin: Rising as the Tech Tycoon’s Bride

The Ex-Fiancé’s Ruin: Rising as the Tech Tycoon’s Bride

Dawn broke gray and bitter over the coastal cliffs, the winter light doing nothing to warm the etched words still scarring our bedroom window. I woke to find Devon's side of the bed empty, the sheets cold, and a note on the nightstand in his sharp, aggressive handwriting: Command center. Don't look at the window. —D I looked at the window anyway. The message was still there, gouged into the glass like a wound that refused to close. In the pale morning light, it looked less like a threat and more like a scar—a permanent mark on our sanctuary that no amount of security upgrades could erase.

One Shift, One Night

One Shift, One Night

"Even the nose. It's... it's a copy." "It doesn't matter," I said, my voice barely a breath against Leo's soft, dark hair. "They are ours. They don't have a father, Kat. They have us." I looked out the small, narrow window of the ward. The sun was just beginning to peak over the Lake Michigan. Somewhere out there, the Kane Plaza was catching the first rays of the morning light, its black glass reflecting the sky like a massive, blind mirror.

In The Dark

In The Dark

He better really get his head together and make sure this is the best night of Eve’s life. I mean what if it is bad and this was all for nothing? What if she’s attached and he’s not? There were just so many variables and to top it off, he was still completely stuck on the dark room thing. He kept saying he wanted it to be purely physical, and have all of his senses heightened to her, and to make it more erotic that way. I don’t know what he’s smoking but I just hope it goes how he is expecting. I was going out Friday night for pizza and wings with a couple people from our crew, and Derek was going to sit at home and call Eve before joining us.

Another good story by this author! I do wish there was a little more at the end because it did feel a little rushed. But other than that, I truly enjoyed reading this story. I highly recommend both stories by this author! They’re very detailed, flow perfectly, and keep you wanting more. Awesome job!

Literally one of the best books on this app. This is one of those few books that I could actually read again! Totally unique plot. You think it’s going in a certain direction and then it switches up keeping you interested. Total page turner. And FANTASTIC/SEXY love story!

Taming his cold heart

Taming his cold heart

The sporadic grating sound it produces adds to the unsettling ambiance, making the room feel even colder and more desolate. A small window, barely recognizable amidst layers of dirt and frost, sits against the far wall. It appears to have forgotten its purpose of offering a glimpse into the outside world. The glass is cracked in places, and the accumulated grime obstructs any meaningful view. Feeble rays of light seep through the filthy panes, further highlighting the room's dreary and isolated state.

Bloodbound: Heart Of The Witch

Bloodbound: Heart Of The Witch

He opened his curtain and stared at the light pouring from the windows opposite to his. He blinked, stared, and blinked again. The windows opposite to him was always dark, but it wasn't anymore, and he hated the new intruders in there. He hated that the darkness was now lit with light. That window, which had always been stayed closed for over a decade and some, opened and a shadowy figure was now leaning against it. He couldn't see her face clearly, but she looked so lost in the night, so alone. The pale bend of her neck curved as she looked up at the moon, as if she was wishing to fly away.

Revenge in Silk

Revenge in Silk

My apartment felt empty and dark. I was too lazy to turn on the lights. The faint light came from the city lights and the moonlight filtering through the windowpane whose curtains I hadn't closed earlier. I sat alone on the sofa—I and Evan often had sex on this sofa, dammit—bottles of liquor lined the table, one of which was lying around. The view of the glittering city from the window only made me feel more isolated. The chaos that had haunted me all day seemed to creep into my mind, filling every corner of the room with confusion and despair.

The Debt of His Desire: Pregnant by the Devil

The Debt of His Desire: Pregnant by the Devil

"Because I haven't broken you yet. Because I let you keep that fire in your eyes." "You couldn't put it out if you tried," she breathed. "Is that a challenge?" He didn't wait for an answer. He lifted her effortlessly, her legs wrapping around his waist as he carried her toward the floor-to-ceiling window. The city lights of New York blurred behind them, a million indifferent witnesses to the chaos about to unfold. He pressed her back against the cool glass. The contrast—the cold window against her spine and the scorching heat of Dark’s body against her front—made her head spin.

Crimson Moon: Shadows Of The Past

Crimson Moon: Shadows Of The Past

*Faraway* A man is sitting inside a dark room, holding a glass with red wine inside. He is looking out through a large bay window, his eyes staring at things beyond the castle wall. Just then, the phone lying on the dark oak table starts vibrating and the screen keeps flashing. The man slowly turns around, revealing his face, half of which is rotten like that of a decayed corpse.

The Marine Next Door II

The Marine Next Door II

Slowly I start to work at one of the windows, but as I pull it open, it starts to make a loud crack. I stand in complete haunting silence as I wait for someone to rush in from outside. Yet. Nothing. I slowly push myself up and slip my legs one by one out the open window. It is completely pitch dark; there is no way of knowing if there is someone out here until I am on top of them. But after a save few steps, I start to feel that I have made it. But then… As I am trying to disappear into the darkness… I wait… But, still, nothing…
