One Day Bride Novels & Stories

❗How would you feel if your husband invited his mistress over on your honeymoon?❗ ~~~~~~~~ The grand hall doors swung open, revealing the most beautiful bride of the year standing at the entrance with her father. Her expression was blurred by the piercing rays of the sun. She hesitated, her eyes scanning the surroundings. Today was supposed to be the happiest day of her life—if only the marriage was for love, and not some damn business arrangement.

She thought to herself, she tried to concentrate on the wedding march. "You can do it Alina just think that you are marching on he isle for your wedding." She told herself looked forward and tried to locate her suppose husband. She was daydeaming as she took step after step towards the altar. She was met at the altar by a huge man who is dress in tuxedo.

Blackwood's eligible bachelors, nursing quiet crushes, now firmly in the past. The wedding day arrived crisp and golden, leaves turning fire along the drive. Serena fussed with my veil—simple lace over a gown that hugged without screaming "bride." Lavigne cried wiping flour from her hands as she hugged me. Diane arrived with prosecco for the bridal suite, toasting "to the end of drama and the start of boring bliss."

At 10:00 am the next morning, the island sunlight was blinding. The wedding venue was extravagantly luxurious. A towering champagne display reflected shards of golden light while business elites and socialites mingled beneath the floral arches. I stood at the end of the aisle wearing a gray bridesmaid dress. Laughter and whispers drifted around me from time to time. "Look at that. The actual fiancee got shoved into a bridesmaid dress. That's a new one." "Trevor's really gone too far this time. He's humiliating Helena in front of everyone."

Everything had changed. As I wore the wedding gown Luca had picked out for me, my cousin's child came running over with an olive branch. "Aunt Giada, Uncle Luca told me to bring this to you!" I reached out and took it, only to see a note attached. "Giada, I know you're about to become my bride, but it still feels unreal. It's as if this is all a dream—and when I wake, I'll still be the one standing on the university field, secretly watching you walk beside Carlo."

“I don’t mean to be judgmental. Of course, you deserve to be happy, Jessica. Forgive me?” After a pause, she smiled and wrapped her arms around me for a hug. “Of course, I forgive you,” she whispered. “What can I do to help?” I asked her. “Actually yes, the wedding is going to be next week in Moon-valley. Your entire pack, both Ironclaw, and Sabrebite are invited,” she paused. “I want you to be my maid of honor obviously.” I smiled. She was my maid of honor for my wedding; I was honored she wanted me to be her maid of honor as well.

As I sat there, watching the workers move around swiftly, I couldn’t help but notice how the shop was filled with an array of beautiful gowns, each more stunning than the last. The day after tomorrow was the big day - my wedding day. I couldn't believe it was finally happening. Gabby and I had been planning this day for what felt like forever, and now it was almost here. Since the delivery was running a bit late, I decided to look around the shop instead, while I sipped on the champagne that they had provided. I had just been to a cake tasting earlier with Gabby before we separated, and the alcohol seemed blissful after all the cakes I had consumed.

Yes, my husband, who has not given me a single glance yet. "Now, you may kiss the Bride," the priest announced. Hearing this, I stiffened, and my fist was sweating, but I acted as orderly as I could. I fisted my palm and clenched my jaw to control my emotions. He eventually turns towards me, and I stare at his face, but he has no expression. No smile, no anger, no affection, no frustration, and moreover, NO LOVE! I crave to laugh at the thought: Is there someone on earth who can even love me?

Mum stayed with me, making sure I looked my best. “Are you sure about this?” she asked at last, probably because I didn’t look excited. “We’re already here,” I replied. “Let’s go.” I haven’t seen Brooke for the past seven days since I arrived at his pack. It’s tradition for the bride not to see the groom seven days before the wedding. My parents are here. So is my brother. Whatever happens today is for the best. Slowly, I approached the marital ground under the full moon, my long gown trailing behind me. I could already see the crown. Tonight, I will be mated to Brooke and become the Luna of the Virex pack.

Smiled. “Instead,” he said, stepping back, “I’ve asked someone else to be my bride.” My knees nearly gave way but I stood still, every cell in my body screaming. Out of the crowd, she stepped forward. Clarissa. My sister. Wearing my dress. "Liam," I breathed. "What are you doing?" He didn’t answer me. He extended his hand, to her. “Clarissa, love, come here.” And just like a rehearsed pageantry, she strode down the red carpet, a smile carved on her lips as she walked towards him, confident, calm and cruel.
