The Nine Tails of Time Traveler

The Nine Tails of Time Traveler

It was as if a question had begun to race through his mind. “How can that clock fight the enemy gumiho that is coming? I only just found out about its power and it took me by surprise,” he said in disbelief. Suddenly he was cut off from all thought for a moment. One memory from the story before that night happened. *** “Tonight, that enemy will come after the gumiho. You have to get ready at the antique clock position and then point it at the bright moon. That power will come out from a thousand years ago.”

Lucas walked over to the scarlet clock that was incomplete and had weird carvings on it. He made a wild guess that it was the Eastern Royalty Clock. Ding… "A fragment of the Ten Legendary Weapons, the Eastern Royalty Clock, has been detected. Please retrieve it."

I genuinely love this book, only problems I have with it is the fact that he never actually travels with the people he gets to join him (hattie Mia etc) I wish there were more interaction between them all. second is that there are only 2 or so chapters a day....I have plenty of coins to waste...

Rise of Athena

Rise of Athena

Someone was coming. Her eyes snapped, she sat up and looked at the timepiece she had set on the table next to her bed; 5 o'clock and ten minutes. It was a gift from Brenda when she had turned eighteen, it was a small clock engraved in a wood carving of an Alpha wolf. Its purpose was to remind her of who she was but whenever she looked at it she mostly saw how weak she was, an Alpha who can't shift. How perfectly embarrassing. Seconds later she heard a knock on the door.

The Beast Of Delon (Love and War)

The Beast Of Delon (Love and War)

I pushed something there and it opened and I was shocked to see a clock inside the compressed bead, not the one with a long and short pointer but the one with numbers. I set the time and locked it back. "What is that?" Cora asked from my back as I suddenly flung and I was shocked. I stood up and hid it between my left hand. She can't see the beauty of it because we are using goggles and it will end up being green in our face. "Don't you want to show me?" She asked and I didn't want her to get all curious. I grabbed my phone and turned on the light since it is dark here.

THE DOCTOR'S BEAUTIFUL WIFE.

THE DOCTOR'S BEAUTIFUL WIFE.

But then, as they entered the small study in the back of the cabin, Isabelle’s eyes were drawn to something unusual—a large, ornate clock sitting against the far wall. Her heart skipped a beat. The clock was identical to the one her mother had mentioned in the journal. It was frozen in time, its hands stuck at 3:15. “Here,” Isabelle said, her voice trembling. She approached the clock, running her fingers along its cold surface. There was something off about it, something that didn’t sit right. She could feel her pulse quicken as she examined it more closely, searching for any clues. Michael stepped beside her, his hand resting on the back of the clock. “You think there’s something hidden ins

Yellow Sun Academy

"Come on, come on. Where is that stupid button? Turn off, you stupid alarm." Strangely, it seems like the clock turns itself off. The ringing stops without me having to touch the button. I don't hear it anymore." "Awesome," I say, smiling as I grab my blanket and cuddle. However, I only get to cuddle for a few seconds before something else happens and my blanket flies off of me. "What the--" Turning around, I see Alodia standing before me, fully dressed in her armor. "Sulien," Alodai starts with her arms crossed. "Do you know what time it is?"

Bound by Voices

Bound by Voices

Mira touched her chest. “And mine.” The leaf inside her locket flashed in perfect time. --- Within days, everything synchronized. Waterfalls poured in rhythm; wind gusted like measured breath. Birds paused mid-flight, gliding between beats, as though time itself had learned discipline. The echoes called it The Great Alignment. They built clocks that had no hands—circles of light counting each pulse in silent worship. But Adrian saw the pattern behind it: Every day, the rhythm quickened by one beat. At this rate, it would reach infinity in less than a month.

a cocktail of history, ego, and silent wars. Edgar Page sat alone in one of the high-backed chairs, one leg crossed elegantly over the other, the amber liquid in his tumbler catching the light like a smoldering flame. In front of him, placed deliberately on the inlaid mahogany table, rested an antique timepiece…polished until it gleamed, ticking steadily beneath the low hum of tension that filled the room. Julian’s clock. Victor’s dead son. His old friend’s favorite relic. A piece of history, ticking with the weight of memories and meaning.

The Echoes we Bury

The Echoes we Bury

Emma asked, peering over his shoulder. “A time,” Elliot said grimly. The clock struck a loud chime, startling them both. The sound reverberated through the small room, deep and resonant, as if the mansion itself had come alive. Emma stepped back, her hands covering her ears. “Why now? Why is it doing this now?” Elliot didn’t answer. He was staring at the hands of the clock as they inched closer to midnight, each movement deliberate and slow. The numbers 12:13 burned in his mind.

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

"Time is the only debt that cannot be repaid in gold. But in the Aeolian Isles, we have conquered time through Harmonic Stasis. Panni, Jinyan—bring the Key. The midnight hour approaches." They were led through the marble streets of the colony. It was a masterpiece of 18th-century luxury and psychological horror. Every building was shaped like a component of a watch; the streets were paved in obsidian and copper. As they passed, the Chorus turned in unison, their movements dictated by a central, subsonic hum that Panni could feel deep in her marrow. Inside the Clockwork Mansion, the air was pressurized and heavy. They were brought to a central chamber where a massive pendulum swung from a hei
