I say to Cara. "Because she looks like a Goddess Alec, and not just any Goddess, but Aphrodite." she says. "I know, but it feels more than that," I add before taking my gaze off her and up to the girl. "Act with me, will you?" I smile at Cara back as she huffs and closes her eyes for a second knowing what I'm asking. "Then you owe me," She speaks a deal making me chuckle. Before Lyra could react, another vision slammed into her. She saw a throne carved entirely from bone. A dead world stretched beneath a fractured sky. Something had torn reality open above the horizon, leaving a wound across the heavens. From that wound descended a figure wrapped in darkness. The Empty King. And seated beside the throne was a woman wearing the Bone Crown. Not the Hollow Queen. Not some forgotten queen from history. Her. The vision vanished. Lyra staggered. The creature saw the look on her face and smiled. "You saw it." Fear tightened around her heart.

He put one of his legs on another and leaned back on the throne. “It’s been ten days, Jayden,” he smirked in a contemptuous tone, “Do whatever you want. You will never be able to get me off the throne. And when I eventually do, all of you will be the fertilizer of my new kingdom.” He lifted up his right hand and waved it in the air. Two wolves who stood slightly closer to the throne were dragged in front of the throne instantly by something invisible and exploded into two blood pools. All the other wolves growled at the scene, but they all took a step backwards fearfully.

“This place is full of people you can’t trust. You can only trust me, at least for now. Not Damien. If he knows you’re not yet a wolf, he is going to fight to claim the throne and probably claim you are an Omega, and we don’t know that yet. Gold skulls sat at the end of each armrest, the back of the throne had angels falling from the sky into a pit of fire carved into it. Gold was moulded into bones and created the base of the chair.
