The Last Station Standing
The Panic ignited into a Brutal Confrontation.
"Kazimir, don't!" Elara cried, but the mercury-worlder had already lunged.
The alien swung a massive, liquid-metal fist that could have crushed a tank. Kazimir ducked, his Glitch-Blade igniting with a snarl of violet energy. This wasn't a fight against an anonymous Sentinel; this was a fight against a man he had shared bread with. The Action-Horror was intimate and ugly.
Kazimir pivoted, slamming the hilt of his blade into the mercury-worlder’s sensor-array, but the alien was relentless. A stream of pressurized mercury sliced through Kazimir’s shoulder, a stinging, toxic burn.
