One Year Adventure Novels & Stories

ANDY’S POV The constant beeping of my alarm clock wakes me and I let out a groan. I go to roll out of the bed, but I quickly stop myself jumping wide awake. You’re pregnant Andy. Your days of rolling of the bed are over. I remind myself and running a hand through my hair. My hand gets struck and I knew I had to do something about the bird nest that is my hair. My off day was on Sunday, so that was the only day I knew I would be able to make my hair, but right now I had to get ready for four hour ride to work and I was dreading it.

I clutched my chest, gasping for breath as tears blurred my vision. My fists clenched so tightly my nails dug deep into my palms, using the pain to keep myself upright. “Wandi spent a year overseas, recuperating, before she was willing to forgive Neve. In a couple of days, I’ll stage a medical ‘miracle’, stand up again, and let her resume being the Donna. This year is a penance for her willfulness.” Each word of his was uttered coolly, piercing deeper into my heart. “But… it has been a year. Will she buy it?” someone asked hesitantly.

Krista asked. "Yes," Zach replied. "We're going to skip around the world, a couple, three weeks here, a couple, three weeks there, but never to anyplace anyone would think of looking, out-of-the-way places." "I don't know what I'd do without the two of you," Susan sighed. "This is all so surreal to me still." "It's like a bad movie in a lot of ways, as far as I'm concerned," Krista said, "then there's the part that's great. It's a bit confusing at times."

Just two people who'd just legally bound themselves together for a year, sitting in complete silence. I used the quiet to mentally prepare myself. To shift into the headspace I'd need to survive a year in this mansion. I pulled up my I*******m and scrolled through my girls' posts. Them at the beach, restaurants, looking effortlessly rich and beautiful. That was going to be me soon. That was going to be my life for the next year — curating luxury, living luxury, documenting luxury. When we pulled up to the Kingland mansion, my jaw almost dropped.

"My brave girl. Off to your next adventure." "It's not an adventure. It's just living." "Living is the greatest adventure," she says. "Your father taught me that." We order pizza. Sit around the warehouse one last time. Our makeshift family sharing a final meal. "What will you do first?" Harper asks. "When you get to Switzerland." "Sleep," I say immediately. "For about three days," Lucian adds. "Then maybe explore the village. Find that dog rescue." "You're really getting a dog," Brandon says, grinning.

Although she didn’t work at Baddie’s Burger’s, she did work with the advertising firm who was trying to get their new campaign off and running. The only thing that kept her nerves from being a total wreck, was the fact that after today, she was going on an EPIC vacation. Heading to Nepal to climb Mount Everest would be the adventure of a lifetime! Many would not believe the adventures she had been on from looking at her. Though she had lost over 100 pounds from her highest weight, she was still overweight and didn't look like the adventurous type. Still, the obstacles she had overcome in her life made her want to explore the world and find new things to do. She would not let anything stop he

I don't think I can handle a woman. I watched how everyone was having a good time. I was also having a good time, watching how the event's star playfully entertained the guests at her birthday party. A one-year-old baby girl giggles and makes faces. Who wouldn’t love watching her every sweet little charming smile? I enjoyed the food. Enjoyed the party, too. But as I will have to drive on my way home, I did not have even a single shot of alcohol. I will have my drink at home. I love to pamper myself with a few shots of whisky before bed. It makes me sleep well through the night. Re-energize my body for another day of work the following day. I left with just a farewell glance to the hosting fa

It seemed he was disappointed to have to resign himself to my mother-in-law's decision. "But what if that doctor doesn't come quickly? Mahira might not be able to wait much longer," Adam said. Apparently he still wanted to fight for me. "Right, Mahira?" When his eyes met mine, I just stayed silent. My whole body was already in pain, my head was pounding too. Maybe because nothing had entered my body for three days. Plus, it turned out Gavin had been playing dirty behind my back. "That's exactly why if Mahira moves around a lot, she'll just lose more energy."

It’s just for one year I kept repeating to myself. Just One Year. What possibly could happen in just one year that hasn't happened in the last seventeen? This was no biggies, all I had to do was find Ally and she would get me through the day. "Kaya!" I would know that voice from anywhere. Step number one already covered and I hadn’t even taken my first step. So far, so good.

Terrence pinched his face and Adam messed up his hair saying, “Hey! What do you think you are doing? What’s happening now is not a dream this is for real, bro! Adam said scratching his head. Do you really think you’re just dreaming, bro? After what happened these past few days? Oh no! We’ve been months travelling in different world. Uggghhh! No! It’s been a year. I guess? Whatever it is, Dave said in a confused tone. Aren’t you sure about what you are talking about? You looked so confused, bro! How can I believe you with that tone, bro? Terrence told while still pinching his face. Adam came closer to him and messed up his hair saying, “You’re crazy, bro!” Adam looked back and he saw the girl
